Welcome to Prescott, Arizonas mile-high city and Everybodys Hometown. Our 70-room Americas Best Value Inn is located a short stroll from historic downtown Prescott on Sheldon Street just west of the intersection of Highways 69 and 89. Our rooms are comfortable and super clean! Our staff is friendly and helpful. We provide excellent value for your lodging dollar. Children 12 and under stay free. We are dog friendly! 10.00usd fee per stay. America West Airline magazine recently featured Prescott, calling it one of the Southwests most charming and authentic destinations. There is an old west history: Prescott has over 600 buildings on the national Register of Historic Places. At the same time, Prescott is the site of what will soon be the largest solar production plant in the world. Its location in Arizonas central mountains, amongst the worlds largest stand of ponderosa pines, gives Prescott four mild seasons as well as breathtaking views and over 450 miles of hiking, biking, and horseback-riding trails. It?s also home to the Worlds Oldest Rodeo, which takes place each summer.
Most recent user reviewsScore 4 out of 5 Great location Anonymous Lots of antique shopping at the old downtown. Short dictance to lakes and large mall.Comfortable, quiet and in the center of all my destinations. Americas Best Value Inn staff were very freindly and accommodating to my needs. Score 5 out of 5 Great location when visiting Prescott Dorinda, San Diego, CA, 2006-11-23 The JB restaurant is two buildings away, and their food is great. Very family friendly.I spent four nights there, and the room was very comfortable. I didn't want to eat all my meals in restaurants so requested a refrigerator for an extra $5 a night. My room was perfect for one person, very comfortable and roomy. There was plenty of drawer and hanging space to unpack completely. The bed was queen size and comfortable. The bathroom was a "very typical hotel" bathroom. The fan comes on every time you turn on the light, and is a little loud. At first I had problems getting the room the right temperature. Prescott was having atypical warm weather for November. I found if I opened a window for an hour in the late afternoon, the temp. was perfect for the rest of the night. Downtown Prescott is just a few blocks away. I loved that I could explore the town without having to drive. My only complaints are very, very minor. The hotel was difficult to find the first night, because their sign is so, so small. I would tell travelers that the hotel is almost on the corner of Rush and Sheldon, and right next to a Motel 6. The "light breakfast" consisted of coffee, hot water for tea or cocoa, juice and tiny little muffins. I usually made coffee in the room, and ate out later in the day. Score 2 out of 5 Review Anonymous, 2006-10-22 The staff was totally unprepared to check anyone in as the rooms had not been cleaned yet. When we did pick up the key to our room around 6pm we were greeted by a ver friendly front desk employee. However, once in the room and in the bathroom, I noticed black mold in the area between the top of the tub and the shower wall. Not attractive. In the morning, there was no hot water to shower with. I have never in my life stayed at a hotel/motel with no hot water. When my husband called to ask about this he was told that they "ran out" of hot water. Needless to say, this place is crossed off our list from now on. |
