Most recent user reviewsScore 2 out of 5 Review BEVERLY, 2007-03-06 Score 3 out of 5 You get what you pay for Anonymous, 2006-10-09 If you are looking for a cheap place to stay in the Mobile Bay area, then the Family Inns of America is the place for you. Late night check-ins are greeted with the front desk clerk behind a plexiglas window while you transact business from the outside. Access from I-65 is difficult because of the service road design, so allot for time in your schedule when traveling from the hotel. The rooms were adequate at best, but remember you are only there to sleep, not enjoy the continental breakfast of an apple and a small cup of coffee. So, business travelers beware, but for young college students on a budget, this could be the place for you. Score 1 out of 5 My review of Family Inns of America Anonymous, 2006-09-03 Plenty of restaurants and shopping close by.This was an awful experience! We arrived at 1:30 am. The sheets on the beds had not been changed. We had to have someone come and change the sheets. The room had not been cleaned. There was trash in the trash cans inside the room. The tub & shower had mildew everywhere! There were people hanging out on the upstairs sidewalks drinking beer when we checked out the next morning. Trash cans outside were running over with trash and trash bags were sitting beside the cans. I do not recommend staying at this hotel. Score 2 out of 5 Review Elizabeth, Atlanta, GA, 2006-08-20 We had to checked in through a window. Unable to enter lobby. Clean sheets but general disrepair. There are many places to eat near by. It is also close to a mall. This was my first and last time to stay at the Family Inn. The check-in personnel was not very helpful or polite. The room I stayed in was not clean and in need of many repairs. The lock on the door did not work properly. The room did not contain the basic necessities normaly found in a hotel room. The clientale that this place attracts caused me to feel very uncomfortable. Many of the guests hung-out in the parking lot drinking etc. to the early hours of the morning. Bottom line regarding my stay at the Family Inn - 1)it was not clean, 2)it needed many repairs, 3)I did not feel safe. Score 2 out of 5 very friendly douglas, Tulsa, OK, 2006-06-11 requst room away from construction crewsThe room and staff were good. BUt a the people who stayed next to us were loud all night long. |
