Also close to Pioneer Park which is a great facility with lots of attractions and nightly entertainment.The housekeeping at this hotel left something to be desired. Hallways were not vacuumed on a regular basis and the wear and tear of an older establishment was quite apparent. Staff was pleasant and fairly efficient.The room was adequate with no frills. Score 4 out of 5 Close to main Highway Diane, Anchorage, AK, 2005-10-23 There is a Denny's right next door and an easy walk across the parking lot.The Super 8 Motel in Fairbanks had about the only room available in the area for the weekend we chose to be there. The overall stay was satisfactory. There were no amenities to speak of, but the motel was clean and it allows pets, which is a plus to a lot of travelers. It has a pretty good location and is easy to find. There is a Denny's next door so you don't have to go far to eat. We weren't in town long enough to see any sights except to visit the North Pole and Santa Clause's house. It was adequate for the time we were there. |
