Consider it a place to sleep if you fly in late at night and are tired, but nothing more. The bed was comfortable, but I would not recommend spending more than one night here. It is out of the downtown area so parking and noise were not an issue. Score 1 out of 5 Not what we expected Anonymous, 2005-06-14 We had reservations for three nights here. We cancelled the second and third nights. This hotel looked like a low income apartment. The furniture was awful, including the beds. There were thin cotton curtains on the windows, although it stays light all night during the summer in Anchorage. The carpet was old and dirty. There was music left on, loud, in another room the whole night. Score 4 out of 5 Spacious and Affordable Anonymous, 2005-06-10 Reasonably priced older hotel close to downtown Anchorage that is good for families. Room was spacious and clean, although furniture was worn. Kitchen was nice and hotel included laundry facility. Downtown Anchorage and a variey of dining options are not within easy walking distance of this hotel. |
