Convenient to airport

The hotel was only used as a "stop-over" and the fact that it was close to the airport was great. Also, the hotel shuttle made it more desirable.

stunk,worst ever

this was the worst room I've ever stayed in . I was a truck driver for 20 years, does that give you a idea? many of the units seemed to be long term. This is not a hotel that should be used by people on vaction in alaska but maybe construction workeers in the area for a few weeks.

Changed the beds

Centrally located in Anchorage, everything is only minutes away, shopping, restaurants, airport, freeway, etc.

This motel is a great value because it offers 2 bedroom apartments for the price of an inexpensive motel room. It's older but clean and offers a kitchen, living room, car ports, and lots of room. However, they used to have a queen bed in each bedroom and have recently changed to a full in one and queen in the other. Without notice of the changes, we arrived with two couples to find the one small bed to be a problem. This one item makes us search for another motel for our next trip tp Anchorage. Too bad for the Royal Suites as we really liked them and recommended them until now.

very disappointed

The Royal Suite was a real shock for us. It's location is not walking distance to any kind of decent restrauant The facility is old carpets dirty. The people working there were very nice and helpful. They should really be commended. They were the only thing that made the place bearable.

Not Bad for the Money

The suite was comfortably arranged, with a separate TV viewing area with couch and table. We were also happy with the kitchen facilities which included a full-size refrigerator, stove and microwave. The location was not the greatest (you wouldn't really walk anywhere from there) but it wasn't terrible either. We felt safe. However, although you wouldn't expect to need it in Alaska, we did miss air conditioning! After all, the daytime temps were in the 70's, and since the sun doesn't really set, the room was pretty hot for sleeping. We didn't feel comfortable opening the window either as there were no screens.

There are several quick shops across the street, was helpful because I had a kichen-ett

Arrived very late but, they sent shuttle right away ,quik check-in and very comfortable room. I plan to stay next time up to Alaska!!

Very convenient

There were great bicycle trails very near the hotel that were great for taking in the scenery.

The Royal Suite Lodge in Achorage Alaska was very accommodating to our delayed flight and late arrival. The staff was very friendly and the room was adequately furnished.

Glad It Was Only One Night

The Royal Suite Lodge is anything but "royal". I arrived to a smelly dark room. It came "royally" equipped with dirty tub and toilet, a bed full of long black hair, and a large frayed living room carpet. I think the best thing about the room was the t.v. The only other convenience was that it was close to local fast food restaurants.
