Most recent user reviewsScore 2 out of 5 Half star hotel Anonymous, 2005-09-04 Did not observe dining facilities in the hotel, but a restaurant down the street is supposed to make the pies in the country. The first room I had the key for was totally depressing When I told the manager I could not possibly spend the night there, he gave me a recently remodeled room which was satisfactory for the price. The lobby and access stairs to the rooms reflect long-time neglect and filth. I only stayed there because summer rates are so high. Score 1 out of 5 Not fit for a dog Ron, Cleveland, OH, 2005-08-20 When booking my 2 star hotel, I read "Get back to basics with these comfortable properties that offer affordable prices. These properties are often located near office parks, airports, and shopping and retail areas. Rooms are comfortably decorated but not overly elegant." Our room at the Mush Inn was simply dirty. There was dirt on the beds. I could not bring myself to step into the moldy shower. The tiles were off the ceiling. The heater was taped together. The bulb was dangerously haning from the lamp. The kitchenette (which includes one small refrigerator) was disgusting. I ended up sleeping in my car. I have taken pictures of this hole and will dispute the charge. Score 1 out of 5 Scary... Anonymous, Dallas, TX, 2005-07-21 I was very appalled with the exterior as well as the interior of the hotel, not only was it in a very bad part of town it was a hovel....only stayed there because they said it would still charge my credit card....the only saving grace was the hotel clerk who checked me in. He put us in a room right over the lobby and although it was a dark small room with stained carpets and torn drapes, me and my friend survived and the car didn't get stolen or broken into. |
