There are several smaller airports located around town, including the San Juan Isla Grande, Ponce Mercedita, and Aguadilla Borinquen airports, all of which tend to boast local island-hopping flights, which can be a quick and easy way to get around the Caribbean region. In the past, the San Juan International Airport has served as a hub for several airlines, but—while currently served by many lines—San Juan flights are no longer considered "hub routes." Thus, packing is easy—simply pack for warm weather, but be prepared for any type of activity you want to do, from nightclubbing to water-skiing!
