The Sun Trolley is often the preferred vehicle for tourists, as it carries passengers from the beach to the famous Las Olas Boulevard downtown and back, often for no fee at all. There is plenty of parking in Fort Lauderdale, but Florida tolls are costly for drivers without SunPass. Miami is only a 21 mile drive south of Fort Lauderdale International Airport.
