Cozumel is known as a tourist destination. Beaches and water-sports abound, and the bars and nightlife in the clubs of San Miguel are well known. The scuba and snorkeling is a draw for tourists, and most of the island is covered with undeveloped jungle and wildlife. You may not have known about the chocolate factory, however!
