Transport services are on the terminal building's first level, on the northern side of Arrival Hall Entrance 5. The Airport Shuttle buses charge ¥15 to go to downtown Hangzhou while taxis charge around ¥100. Taxi fare rates are ¥10 for the first three km, ¥2 for every kilometer from 3 to 10 km, and ¥3 for every kilometer beyond 10 km. There are also some luxury taxis, which are mostly Benz models; the fare scale for these is ¥10 within the first 2.5 km, ¥3 for every km from 2.5 to 8 km and ¥5 for every km beyond 8 km.
Hangzhou experiences a humid, subtropical climate. There are four distinct seasons: a hot and humid summer, a rainy spring, a cool autumn and a cold, dry winter.
