Midland Airport Information
Midland International Airport is the primary airport serving Texas' greater Midland region. Travelers who use Orbitz.com to find cheap flights from Midland are able to select from any of the major domestic airlines that service the airport, including American Eagle, Southwest and United. The airport is located just 10 miles southwest of downtown Midland, offering easy access to I-20 via West Wall Street.
Parking at Midland Airport
Midland International offers three choices in parking, all within a short walk of the terminal. Rates at the covered garage are $8 per day or $50 per week. The short-term lot charges $6 per day or $35 per week, while the long-term lot charges $4.25 per day or $25 per week. Skycaps are available in front of the terminals to take your luggage from the curbside loading zones.
Ground Transportation Information
Midland has little in the way of public transportation, so a taxi might be your best option to get to the airport on time. Four cab companies service the airport, including A-1, AAA Taxi, Permian Basin Taxi and Midessa Transportation. If you plan to book your discount air tickets through Orbitz.com, you might save enough on the ticket cost to pay for private car service.
Midland Airport Restaurant Options
Midland International operates a small food court where you can grab a sandwich or snack, and it also has a full bar if you are looking for a cold beverage. If you have a long flight ahead of you, you might want to grab a bite before you arrive at the airport. Just outside the airport entrance on I-20, you will find a Subway, McDonald's and several cafes and full-service restaurants. Enjoy your travels, and remember to use Orbitz.com the next time you are looking for cheap flights from Midland.
