Located inside the entrance to the Science Museum of Minnesota , the Mississippi River Visitor Center is operated by the National Park Service and designed to educate visitors about the Mississippi National River & Recreation Area. Minnesota Zoo
You'll see most of the exotic animals you expect at the 485-acre Minnesota Zoo, including tigers, camels, dolphins, and monkeys. But this zoo includes an especially nice array of North American animals, including wolves, bison, pumas, and wolverines. During the summer the zoo's working Wells Fargo Family Farm engages visitors with hands-on exhibits and teaches how food travels from the farm to the grocery store shelves.
