During your Denver vacation, don't miss these great establishments and attractions:
P. F. Chang's China Bistro
The LoDo-based P.F. Chang's provides an elegant taste of China with surprisingly stylish flair. Chang's dishes span the culinary offerings of China's major regions including Hunan, Shanghai, Szechuan, Canton, with a few side trips to Mongolia. The menu is rich and both the food and service are excellent. The dumplings here are recommended by all. The Moo Goo Gai Pan and Crab Wontons are also great choices. Check out Chang's other location at 8315 South Park Meadows Center Dr, Littleton CO, +1 303 790 7744.
Zaidy's Deli
Located in Cherry Creek, Zaidy's is open for breakfast, lunch and early dinner. This deli has a large open space full of comfortable seating for dining. Although this is a traditional Jewish, New York-style deli, Zaidy's still maintains an individual style all of its own. The omelets here come packed with onions and other veggies while the pastrami sandwich rules the lunch menu. Its salads and potato latkes are the hit of the neighborhood, and are what fills the place with customers. The dinner menu features everything from corned beef with chopped liver sandwiches to chili latkes.
Enzo's End Pizzeria
Do not let Enzo's End "down-and-out on Colfax" look fool you; this place serves up some of the best pizza in Denver. The traditional Neapolitan thin crust delights come with an east coast edge, and the specialty pies are creative concoctions packed with odd toppings that somehow click. Pizzas come piled with an array of homemade sauces and fresh toppings on thin crust that magically holds it all together. Calzones and salads are also available.
Queen Anne Bed and Breakfast Inn
Occupying a pair of 1800s Victorian homes, both listed on the National Registry of Historic Places, the Queen Anne Bed and Breakfast is the perfect place for a romantic weekend getaway. Each room features a private bath, and a wealth of period antiques and fresh flowers. A gourmet breakfast greets guests each morning, and evening beverages include wine and spiced apple cider. The inn is within walking distance (15 minutes) of LoDo and Coors Field. In 1998, National Geographic Traveler placed it among the Twenty Best Inns of the Rockies.
Courtyard by Marriott Denver Stapleton
The Courtyard, located just east of downtown, has all the first class accommodations you would expect from a Marriott. All the rooms offer business amenities, including work desks. While there is no restaurant on site, a dinner delivery service is available to bring selections from nearby restaurants. If you have a chance to get away from the job, downtown is only a few miles away. Plus, the hotel is close to area parks as well as the Denver Zoo and the Museum of Nature and Science.
Holiday Chalet (The)
The Holiday Chalet is an inexpensive, quaint bed and breakfast offering Victorian-style rooms with flowery blankets, ornate furniture, and lacy curtains. The present owner's grandfather purchased the 19th century house from a prominent Denver jeweler in 1912. Three generations later, the same family still serves guests continental breakfasts on the sunny patio. The upscale Victorian home, built in 1869, is close to the Denver Zoo, Denver Museum of Nature and Science, and Denver Botanic Gardens. It is about a mile from downtown.
