DRIVING
Silicon Valley's main airport is two miles north of downtown San Jose.
Passenger pick up: The Cell Phone Waiting Area is located at the southernmost tip of the Terminal Drive One Way Loop just past Terminal C.
PARKING
Cheapest: Daily parking is $15 in the long-term lot, which a shuttle links to the terminals.
Most convenient: For Terminal A, the Short-Term Parking Garage is closest; for Terminal C, the short-term lot is your best bet. Both are $30 daily and $1 for 20 minutes.
Disabled parking: Located in Terminal A garage and Terminal C short-term lot for $15 daily.

GROUND TRANSPORTATION
Train: The VTA Airport Flyer runs between the Metra light-rail station and the Caltrain station in Santa Clara every 10 to 15 minutes. More information online or at 408-321-2300.
Shuttle: Shuttle service to areas of south or east San Jose starts at about $29; service to Stanford starts at about $25; shuttle service to downtown San Francisco starts at about $69.
Cab: Taxi service, which runs about $15 to $20 to downtown San Jose and $40 to $45 to Palo Alto, is available outside of baggage claim at both terminals.

RENTAL CARS AT SJC
Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Fox, Hertz, National, Payless and Thrifty serve the airport, where shuttles take travelers to the Rental Car Center in about 10 minutes.
GETTING AROUND THE AIRPORT

Free shuttles cruise between Terminals A and C and the parking lots 24 hours a day.
AMENITIES/USEFUL INFO
Lost and found: In Terminal C by Gate C11, and on the 2nd floor above the main lobby in the International Terminal. The offices are open weekdays 7 a.m.-6 p.m. Call (408) 277-5419 after hours.
Services for travelers with disabilities
Cash machines: Terminal A has ATMs across from Gate A4 and Gate A11 and across from Carousels 1 and 2 in baggage claim. Terminal C's ATMs are near the ticket counters and across from Carousel 1 in baggage claim.
Stamps: Postage vending machines are in terminals A and C near the baggage claim areas.
Wi-Fi: Wireless Internet access is available throughout the airport through Wayport. A single connection, valid from purchase time through midnight, costs $6.95.
