DFW is an 18-mile drive from downtown Dallas and 24 miles from downtown Fort Worth.
Cheapest: Remote parking in the North and South lots is $7 a day. Bus service connects passengers to the terminals.
Most convenient: Parking at the terminal offers the shortest walk to the gates; $14-$17/day.

Train: The Trinity Railway Express offers service to and from Dallas and Fort Worth, but it doesn't operate on Sundays or some holidays. The fare is $2.25 to Dallas and stations east of the airport station, and $1.25 to Fort Worth and stations to the west. Shuttle service connects the station to airport terminals.
Bus: DART buses serve Remote North Parking via the route 310 bus Monday through Friday and Remote South Parking seven days a week on route 408. A one-way fare is $1.25. Fort Worth Transit Authority's "Airporter" costs $12 one-way. Get more info on public transportation.
Shuttle: Three companies offer shuttle service to or from downtown Dallas and Fort Worth. SuperShuttle fars run about $16 - $23 to downtown Dallas and $16 - $29 to downtown Fort Worth. Numerous charter bus and limo services also serve DFW.
Cab: Catch taxis along the upper-level curbside exits. There is a flat rate of $40 to areas in the Dallas central business district and $43 to the Fort Worth central business district.
Advantage, Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, E-Z Rent-A-Car, Hertz, National and Thrifty are at the Rental Car Center. Get details and a diagram of DFW's Rental Car Center. A free shuttle ride to the Rental Car Center takes about 10 minutes.
GETTING AROUND THE AIRPORT

DFW's Skylink airport train provides transportation between terminals. Skylink stations feature passenger information systems and are at the north and south ends of each terminal.
Business Centers: The first of DFW's eight new centers is in Terminal C; all will be adjacent to Starbucks and a Skylink station and will feature leather seats, semi-private workstations, a closed-captioned television monitor, electrical and phone outlets and Wi-Fi.
Food: DFW's buy-at-the-gate program lets American Airlines passengers buy pre-packaged meals at terminals A and C and take them on board the plane.

Travelers Aid: Located in Terminal B near the B30 baggage claim.
Assistance: Uniformed DFW "ambassadors" -- volunteers who assist travelers -- are positioned throughout the airport.
Wi-Fi: Wireless Internet is available through T-Mobile.
Children: DFW has two "Junior Flyers' Club" children's play areas: one near Gate 12 in Terminal B; the other in Terminal C at Gate 14.
