My stay wasnt pleasant at all. A couple of days before my trip, I received an email from the hotel (not Orbitz/Expedia) asking me if I wanted to upgrade my stay by checking-in early for an extra fee. I accepted, not knowing or being informed at that time that early check-in wasnt guaranteed. Got to the hotel super early just to be told I couldn't check-in until regular time, which was 4 hours later. Once I was informed that I wouldn't be charged for it, I didnt make a fuss. I kindly left and came back when the nice lady said to. I got back around 4:45pm, @ this time there's a line. My turn comes up and Im told my room was still not ready, but she still gives me a room on the 12th floor that was. I get to the room and I am so disappointed how small and out dated the room looked. At that moment, I was extremely annoyed. I only stayed, because we were exhausted. There was a kitchenette, but you had to go all the way to the lobby to borrow things to cook and eat with. Only 1 range on the stove worked. I saw roaches. There was no stopper for the sink or dish towel or sponge to wash dishes. I spent as little time in that room as possible. AND lets not forget the indoor pools were closed because of the disrespectful guests putting trash and cigarettes in it. The outdoor pool was open, but the weather was too cold for me and my family to use it. Plus, on the day of check-out there were guests in the lobby complaining about condoms floating around in it. The staff was kind though.

This property should be taken off booking list. While it is semi affordable, it is unclean, unsafe, unsanitary. Staff was professional but overworked and kept apologizing for all the "inconveniences", they do NOT answer the phones wheather you call from room or directly from cellphone. Cleaning service is not available, in 3 days of stay our room did not get cleaned once, we had to stand in 30 people line at the lobby for an hour to get some toilet paper and clean towels. Indoor pool closed, no towels, hot tubs water is incredibly dirty. One plus - parking on site. Elevators malfunctioning, i was stuck in one for good 10 mins. Door keys work 1/10, its a fight to get the door unlocked. Non smoking rooms? You can get 2nd hand smoke exposure from weed and cigarettes at any time of the day or night, and theres no one to file a complaint with. I will never recommend this place to anyone.

Nice clean hotel with working indoor/outdoor pools that are open year round. Ample covered/connected parking. All rooms are oceanfront to my knowledge. South enough on Ocean Blvd that I would consider the neighborhood there as being much safer than the boardwalk area hotels.

Great experience, our second time here staying at sandcastle’s hotel. I will be coming back for sure.

Heated swimming pool was great along with the other two pools and hot tubs.

Elevator where not working properly

The area and the staff were good, the facility and condition of it were terrible. The room did NOT look like the pics posted. I was checked into a room with a couch so dirty and stained, it looked like they picked it up off of the side of the road. The other furniture was old, scratched and outdated as well. After I took pictures of the couch w/ mystery stains and worn out arms… I was told there wasn’t another room to check in to available, and was offered a blanket to cover it. I requested a refund and checked into another hotel. The hotel needs a refresh pronto so that it can actually look like the pics posted.

The property as a whole needs a complete renovation. The staff were friendly.

I went to the property and left within the hr the room was very dirty broken and unsafe I will never recommend the hotel to anyway i had to pay for another room so me and my kids had a safe clean environment to sleep

As soon as I stepped off the elevator there was trash everywhere in the hallway. The shower (which I refused to use), had hair in the drain, on the shower curtain and inside the tub. I used Mr Clorox wipes to wipe around the sink, for the amount of dirt and residue that was on the wipe, it was obvious that no one cleaned around the sink. Same goes for the toilet seat that was even dirtier. The was rags were dingy and off white in color. The shower rod was completely rusted out and there was hair in the refrigerator. This room was absolutely gross!! I will never stay here again!!!!!!

Our stay started out a little rocky. When we got there a 5:30pm check in went smooth but when we went to our room it was dirty. The beds were all messed up, there was garbage everywhere and it smelled terrible. After informing the front desk staff they offered to move my room to a smaller room that did not accommodate my family. I ask if they could just have house keeping to clean it. After a few hour we went back to our room it was still not clean so I went back to front desk. I was told they couldn’t clean it because they didn’t have clean sheet and she finally decided to give me a room that was the same size as mine at 11:30pm. The only thing else was that there was no kitchen dishes or hair dryer available in the room like advertised. Other than that our stay was good.

Nice clean hotel with working indoor/outdoor pools that are open year round. Ample covered/connected parking. All rooms are oceanfront to my knowledge. South enough on Ocean Blvd that I would consider the neighborhood there as being much safer than the boardwalk area hotels.
