Just Book It, Seriously The Swahili Experience. I spent 7 full days at this amazing resort. It was the best Diani has to offer. EVERYTHING is better than the pictures. The rooms are spacious, the pools a large and many, the food choices are plenty, and the spa is a must! I'm going to name drop because it was that good I had to keep a list. This is not to say other staff aren't amazing, but these are the staff that made my experience one for the books! The F&B Staff led by Junas: Daizy, Paul, Twahir, Sila, Clemence, and Hoka never missed a beat from breakfast to lunch to dinner. The Spa - there is not need to name drop, every single person in the Spa is !!!!!!! You must book the Swahili Experience at the Spa. The entire pool staff were thee keepers of the vibe! They keep the pool clean and ready! Morris is guest relation is a whole vibe! He literally is there to make sure you are living it up!! I don't have kids, I was there on a solocation, however, the entertainment staff......they were AMAZING! They kept the kids busy, allowing me to chat with cools moms! The music, the activities, the friendliness, and the safety! The accountant and cashier, Francis is always one to know. He keeps very good records, there was no funny business with the billing! He literally keeps everything running smooth! Such a pleasure at check out. The Owners - I love them! They are couple goals! They pay attention to maintenance, and they listen! I will be back!

I like the fact that it had multiple pools and the dining near the beach. It does not have a good beach front

The customer service is superb a 5star service to every guest. I would recommend this hotel anytime to anyone without hesitation. I have stayed at hundreds of beach hotels in Mombasa Malindi Lamu Zanzibar and I would say Swahili beach hotel is the BEST. Bravo to the managers.

The rooms are a 10/10 and the exterior (pools, decor etc )looks awesome. The dining experience however left a lot to be desired, choosing to have concrete roofs next to hot stoves is very puzzling - cooler palm trees are a fire hazard but the alternative solution cannot to just let guest sweat it out. I have never sweat more during meals. Options for kids menu was limited (esp my 5 yr old). Staff could be friendlier and more efficient- my wife and I had to separately endure over 10 minutes waits on pasta (dinner ), egg stand (b/fast ) when attendant chefs just left for ingredients without warning. it also took over 40 minutes to clear used cutlery from tables which we plied at the center. I didnt feel staff motivation- the frond desk staff and kids attedants however did a great job. We were there for 18 hours as we needed a place for a day as our usual Diani destination was full for that day. Having never been to Swahili beach, I thought would provide a great opportunity to assess for a future stay. Given we travelled with two kids- I wouldn't rate them high for family stay- but would make for a great couple/ individual stay. Service enthusiasm needs to improve a tad but they desperately need to fix the heat levels in their open restaurant to get a higher rating from me( the paid specialty restaurants may have aircon but we didnt venture there due to kids - but that cant be an excuse not to cater for everyone else).

Beautiful hotel! We had a great time! The staff was so helpful and the food was wonderful!

Dear Sir, Thank you for taking the time to write to us. Your comments are taken to heart and you will be happy to learn that we are currently closed for a period of innovation which includes extensive changes to our Majalis restaurant as well as changes to our other restaurants and facilities. I am confident that your issue has been addressed and your next visit will be excellent. We are also adding a kids club and additional children's facilities to keep the little ones safe and entertained during their stay with us. Please keep and eye on our social media and website for images and updates. Kind Regards,
