Spice opened up and had great food. Food In the lobby restaurant was good. MJ, Nina, Camille and Ms Carvalho (forgot first name) we’re great along with the rest of the staff. I believe they even washed the windows. No complaints. Thanks for the great stay Peninsula!

I almost wanted to give two stars because of the following: - not what you expect from a Peninsula - the fresh orange juice was not fresh a couple of times. I had to haggle a couple of times. - my windows were disgusting on the outside - my room was recently renovated but quite average, even for a three star hotel. - the mind blowing my stop room service at 9:30 PM even though their lobby restaurant is open until 10:30. I know… Covid but the other thirty or so hotels I’ve stayed at in the last 8 months had room service BECAUSE it’s the most safe way to feed people. Even the smallest ones with ten huts on remote islands. It is the nuttiest management decision I’ve ever seen, and so against everything the very top brands in hospitality are about. -breakfast was free and good, but ala carte. Meaning you had to pick choices from a menu. No omelettes, no omelette stand. I don’t believe I’ve seen that in a hotel the last twenty years. -other food was meh. I ordered pizza a couple of nights even though I had meal credits for eating in the hotel. Now the pros: - the lobby is beautiful with awesome art. -do try the cheesecake!!! - the staff, from housekeeping, to middle management, is simply wonderful. They are excellent and remind you that you are at a Peninsula. They’re worth the five star rating I selected.

The pool area was very nice and surprisingly mosquito free at the height of the rainy season. They did a great job keeping these pests away. The hotel has a bar with a live band almost every night. The performers are excellent and great singing voices. You'd have to pay top dollar in the states to hear an equivalent band.

We booked a night there. The place was excellent but some of the people that work there I guess one or two of the waitress or waiter near the reception area ignore my mom and my son whose that time was hungry and I swear I won’t mind paying if they order something. But they just pass them they don’t even offer drinks or menu. I guess they only serve people with pretty clothes. I feel bad they should treat people equally.

The people and staff were very friendly and professional

Great staff. Luxury property that earns its 5 stars. Breakfast buffet is enormous and top-quality - a great bargain at the small add-on cost we paid booking the package thru orbitz. Very nice to spoil ourselves a little for one night while visiting family in metro Manila. This was our second stay; We will very happily book again.

Beautiful hotel, incredible value for the price. I recommend this hotel to anyone.

We have been staying at the Peninsula in Makati for years, it still remains second to none! Integrates local culture, the hotel staff is beyond accommodating, cleanliness is above par. It is truly a five star hotel.

Great staff and amazing hotel! Located near shopping malls and restaurants

Unbelievable service from the staff from the moment u walk into the hotel. I left my room to check out the city and the turn down service is awesome. They cleaned up my room, folded some of my clothes laying around, turned down the bed, and even put out some ice. Just the little things like that make this place exceptional. Can’t say enough good stuff about the hotel and the friendly and helpful staff.

First class stay at a first class property! When in Makati it is the only property that offers the extra special touch to make the stay memorable!

Hotel staff are all great and accommodating. Meals is on top for their selection. Ambiance and rooms are comfortable enough to relax. Highly recommended.

Staff were very helpful and the bathroom was great! The Pen Burger is always a favourite and I'd recommend it to anyone staying even for just one night.

Short layover in transit back home. Stayed at hotel on previous trip. Classy deco and great lobby. Mushroom bisque is great selection with bread basket. Eggs Benedict is another great choice among many. Staff were friendly and very helpful at check in. Located within steps to shopping centers, there is not much need for cars. Breakfast buffet has very large selection of foods you won’t need lunch.
