Unique location. Great staff but needs to be remodulated.

My favorite vacation spot for the past three years, perfect if you want to rest and have fun won great location close to the airport and town but needs a lot maintenance. My favorite part the employees! Very few but super friendly and they go out of their way to make you feel welcome.

This property needs a full renovation, especially the bathrooms. Our first day we had maintenance in our room for a hours, fixing out leaking toilet(still leaked after it was"fixed"), only to return to fix our spa and deck lighting. It seemed like the hotel was not ready for our arrival(we arrived at the hotel at 3pm). The AC in the room needs to be replaced. Breakfast was the worst meal we had on the trip. The chilaquiles and eggs were awful. The staff was great! I will visit Nopolo/Loreto again, but I won't be staying at this hotel.

beach access is great

Spend seven days there. The wife and I enjoyed are stay there. The resort gets huge bonus points for the landscaping. Baja is ultra dry desert country. Virtually all resorts the landscaping features sand and cactus. LBGR&S is a lush oasis featuring extensive lawn, sidewalks lined with hedges, lots of palm trees, shrubs with flowers and leaves. And even the building is covered with ivy!! The bonus from this is not only that has a cooling effect and is easy on the eyes but attracts all sorts of song birds which are a rarity in Baja (I lived on the beach in Baja for five years and the best we can do for song birds is cooing pigeons). The downside of the ivy covering the building is that it drops leaves and the song birds poop on the deck. The resort is not diligent in cleaning up the leaves and poop. We requested them to clean it and they did immediately. The LBGR&S gets bonus points for having a nice beach with lots of watercraft -- kayaks, paddleboards, and even a small sail boat which are free to use.. Also bicycles are free to use. ATV's and dirt moto-bikes can be rented. The setting is drop dead gorgeous -- surrounded by high mountains on the landward side, clear ocean water, two islands, and a huge rock feature at the end of the beach. A lush golf course with lots of water features (a river runs through it) back up to the buildings. The furnishings in our room need to be upgraded -- not even a dresser drawer. We had to request luggage stands.

Very beautiful place! The staff were amazingly friendly. The food was outstanding. The beach was groomed and clean. We would highly recommend this resort!

Friendly staff, beachfront, reasonable pricing. Good breakfast though vegetarian food was limited at both the breakfast buffet and restaurant Nice hotel. Will choose again.

Friendly staff, beachfront, reasonable pricing. Stayed only one night and wish had more time. Vegetarian food was limited at both the breakfast buffet and restaurant but I got help from the friendly cooks and waiters. Nice hotel. Will choose again.

It is hard to beat the scenery, and the beach is very nice. The sea is very quiet, making it perfect for kids. As well, the rooms are nice if not great. Where it is lacking: quality of food and ingredients for breakfast, sometimes inattentive and inconsistent service. Now, this is a great base to explore the sea of Cortez, which offers and fantastic array of sea life.

This was my families first time stay at this resort. From the outside the resort looks nice but once we got our room we were disappointed. First off it looked like our room never got swept. The floor in the bathroom was very dirty and the sliding glass door looked like it had never been cleaned. When we opened the sliding glass door the balcony was very dirty. My family loves to hang out on the balcony but didn't because of the overgrown ivy thats there and the lack of patio furniture. We tried to put all that aside and went to the pool. The restaurant by the pool looked good so we gave it a try. Huge mistake it was just before dinner and we sat down and waited an hour for our food and it turned out they forgot. We reminded our server a few times but no food ever came. Oh when you ask the servers for something they seemed to be bothered because they are so busy talking to the other servers. We ended up driving into town and had a wonderful dinner. Thank God we rented a car because this hotel is 20-25 min from the town of Loreto. We loved the town of Loreto and can't wait to go back sadly it won't be at this resort.

This is our favorite hotel in the Loreto area. The facility location, rooms and staff are great!

El personal muy sevicial y amigable!
