The stay was good. Very friendly and clean. Perfect resort stay except for 2 things. There is no laundry on the property and no microwave on the property. We could not sterilize our infant's milk bottles.

There was some mold in the bathroom wall and the carpet was not clean

Very nice hotel! Need better parking. Room very clean.

Pros: Comfy beds, loved the shower, very quiet, close to casino Cons: No clock in the room

Beautiful golf course, pool and jacuzzi near our room, quiet, well-maintained grounds, courteous staff, great food, reasonable rates.

The facility is very nice, the rooms are spacious, and the shuttle service is fantastic. Unfortunately, you can hear EVERYTHING your neighbor is doing, saying, singing, screaming, watching or when they come in a little drunk and rowdy at midnight to finish up the party. I have had much quieter rooms in Vegas, and that is really saying something here. The staff only registered our keys for 1 night instead of 2, so of course no one likes to find themselves locked outside of their room when its freezing outside. Unfortunately this will be my last stay at this resort.

A great place to stay in the mix of the great golf courses.

There was a very strong mold smell in the room. When asked to switch rooms at 2 am in the morning, hotel clerk was accommodating. However, the second room was in the same sections and mold/mildew smell was prevalent in this room as well. We were very disappointed with the room.

It's a good option for a non-shopping weekend close to San Diego. The golf course (oak Glenn) is tricky and well designed but its fairways are dry and need grass in some areas. The greens are soft and good

This was a pleasant surprise once inside the room. On the whole, I expected a Hotel attached to a casino, but this looks more like a motel from the outside, and is approx 3 miles away from the casino. (shuttle available, but drive yourself if you're not drinking!). Our room was clean, and much larger than expected. Bathroom was updated and the rainfall shower head was a nice touch. Only real negative.... it was cold, and the in room heater was far too noisy to be left on all the time. The restaurant onsite was good and reasonably priced. I didn't play golf so can't comment on that. Well deserving of a 3 star rating, and good for a short stay.

The place is lovely, but they bill an extra $110 per night security deposit to your credit card, and even if the room is paid for in full in advance, they will not allow you to check in without paying the fee-- technically its a hold on your card, but is not released until you check out-- this is not disclosed anywhere other than a small sign in the lobby. This resort is a great get away about 15 miles outside of downtown San Diego. Our room was spacious and located next to a par-3 hole where we could sit outside and watch or walk to the next building to practice putting or pitching out of the sand trap. We had reservations for 2 nights and hit the casino's international buffet on the first night...what a deal! The regular price was $10 a person, but the hotel had a 2 for 1 buffet coupon as well as a $5 valet parking coupon. The casino was very smoky and majority of the machines were the video type...we did not stay there long. We had breakfast at the golf course restaurant which had a good selection of reasonably priced items. The meal was delicious and portions were huge! The staff in the pro shop were very friendly and we enjoyed playing the course.

Went there for a junior golf tournament. Oak Glen is a nice golf course and well maintained. We stayed at the hotel which is located across the parking lot. It was convenient for my son to practice and play his round of golf. From the outside the hotel is nothing to brag about. But the hotel room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The furnishings seemed to be updated however the room smelled a bit musty. My sister and I went to the casino nearby ( 3 miles ). There is a coupon on -line for a free buffet if it is your first time getting a players card. So we had free food and a fun time. There isn't much else to do in the immediate area however if you go down to one of the main street (Jamacha) it will take you to rancho san diego where there is a movie theater and shopping.

Our air conditioning was not working properly. We called the front desk and they immediately sent someone to check AC and replace it. I think this is the best service I ever received anywhere. Mary R

Hotel is in a beautiful location. Very serene, but it is old and needs some renovating. Rooms are very clean and large which is a plus for a family, but no central air so wall a/c unit is VERY noisy! Bathroom is large too, but needs updating also. Please note, even though Orbitz advertises free internet, THE WIRELESS INTERNET IN ROOM COST $9.99 PER 24 HOURS! The staff was very friendly and helpful.

great food on site and at the casino

We do apologize for not having microwaves within the rooms. That's something that may cause issues with the electrical room for us being a older property. When we are approved the laundry room is something were working in getting back for the guests.
