Great Property...but.....
not providing this Nov 10, 2009
The property was great. Well taken care of, clean, lovely view, private beach area, great pools. On-property restaurant ... (dinner) has marvelous food (a little pricey, but deeeeelicious). The "Tiki Hut" is down near the water and great to sit and enjoy the view with a drink. Restaurant staff wonderful. The down-side here is.....front desk staff not friendly. Need a little work on that. The property is lovely and it's a great spot for a wedding....downside might be....it's a great spot for a wedding, so if you are looking for total quiet, best to find out if there's a wedding booked because the reception could be on the lawn outside your room. The reception area was not too close to us, so not too bad. Glad our unit was not near the reception, tho.

These are "condo" type units. You cannot get a cup of coffee on property before 11AM....so either stop at Publix to get coffee....or be prepared to drive your first morning there.

FLKEYS Sep 11, 2009
The location is fantastic. It is right on the Gulf and the pool is very nice. The townhouse we stayed in was well ... equipped. We did not bring the kids but the place will great for kids as well. We highly recommend it.
Traveler type: Couples
There are several nice restaurants as short drive away. Try the Keys Fisheries a little west.

Great Place for a wedding
Key Westerners Jul 2, 2009
Stayed here for a destination wedding (50+ guests). The condos are very nice w/ granite countertops, stainless steel ... appliances, etc... Highly recommend for a wedding; the wedding appetizers and main were the best I have had at a wedding, anywhere! Besides the wedding, the wave runners were fun and resonably priced as was the tikki bar. A lot of sea grass, so we spend most of the time at the pool. The front desk personnel were very friendly as were the women bartenders at the tikki bar, but the male staff at the tikki bar and water sports could be more friendly. Many of the individuals that checked in did not have their condos ready and had to wait until 5-530pm for check-in.

For seafood on Marathon recommend Keys Fisheries Market & Marina and for cuban "Tainos" is an excellent choice.

Weekend in the Keys
Good Weekend May 26, 2009
My wife and I really loved the hotel. The room was actually a two-story townhome with everything we could need. Didn't have ... much interaction with the staff, but the little contact we had was positive. Picturesque would be a great way to describe the hotel, just wish there was a real beach. I would recommend this place and would go again.
