The room was fine but them charging me an extra $150.00 dollars that won't be returned for 3 to 4 weeks upset me, and I am ... glad now that I have booked the room for the rest of my trip on my own. Other wise the money would be held in deposits and all we could afford to do is sit in the room. The clerk explained this was Orbitz usual charge for a deposit and that I should have read the add better, So I won't be using your services again.. Thank You Diana Clark

Great Place for a Quick Stay...

The Days Inn Port Aransas was a very comfortable place to stay, we had everything we needed close by. A nice pool, a walk ... to the beach, and far away form city noise and traffic! We had a nice rest from city life on the last week before back-to-school. Things I loved: the nice pool and the closeness to the beach; plus the complementary breakfast!!! Things I would change: add a faucet or shower to wash off sand before going into the pool or the rooms, and the involuntary noise we make to the neighbors downstairs. In conclusion... we had a very restful week at the beach away from the city. We were happy with our stay and we'll be coming back next year!!!

Not a great place to stay.

Hotel clerk was openly unfriendly. The room size was OK, but the beds were stiff and uncomfortable. The bathroom was very ... small. The linens were cheap and sparse in number. The A/C system was a window unit- either too cold or too hot. Also, they took an up front deposit out of my credit card of $150 in case we stole or damaged something. Not a thrilling way to be treated. We will not go back there.

We were welcomed and well informed by the staff at Days Inn in Port Aransas. The room was very clean and up to date with ... decor. We had access to store cold items and able to microwave and heat food in the room. The beach was very close and easy to access. It was a relaxing spur of the moment get away.
