It's a great location for my needs; decent value - love the king size bed and free internet. Elevators could be cleaner. ... Also - bathrooms need updating: floors and walls. Bath towels leave something to be desired.

best are the hardest thing I have ever slept on .. or better yet... did not sleep on. really, mattress was harder than carpet ... on the floor. linens where clean, room did smell like grease and heater made a terrible racket, had to hit to make fan come on. For the money and area its not bad, party folks for events, games, etc its a good deal and just several min from down town. There are worst places to stay, but for the money you might not find one better. dont think Id stay again especially for more than one night. Staff was friendly, IHOP was great. Maybe a great place to stay for mardi gras if you dont plan on being in the room for long periods of time. Overall I would stay again in an emergency. BUT if had an option I would try something else. BED WAS THE DEAL BREAKER!!!

Convenient location to city and suburbs, however the smell of smoke gags you upon entering the hotel and is noticeable in ... non-smoking rooms. Bathroom caulking is extremely sloppy and looks dirty. Beds are comfortable and hotel is peaceful. Staff is extremely polite and courteous!

Easy to get to off I-10 if you follow directions. Staff was friendly, IHOP was connected to the hotel which was nice. Beds ... were comfortable with lots of TV selections. Rooms were very clean, seemed newly remodeled, and I liked the patio area. For an older hotel, pretty nice. Hotel reservation thru Orbiz was cheaper than advertised on outside hotel sign so that was a nice surprise.

The room was nice and very adequate for my needs. This particular room did not provide a remote for the TV and power button ... on the television needed repair. The bathroom floor didn't seem to have been cleaned daily very well. I did appreciate the free internet service.

My stay wasn't as good as previous times staying there. For one, the heater wasn't working. Went downstairs to the front ... desk, told them it wasn't working. Was told they would have maintenance look into it. Came back that evening...to a very cold room! Next moring, went down to the front desk, told them yet again, our heater wasn't working. Were assigned another room. Came back that evening. The heater was working, but barely had enough hot water to take a decent shower. Have decided to not come back to this hotel. Its unfortunate, but do not want a repeat performance of this nature again.

Reasonable price for a refurbished hotel

Comfortable bed, nice employees, clean room. Convenient IHop Resturant attached to hotel (Friendly service). The only ... negative thing I observed was that all the signs in the parking lot (and there were several), stating that the hotel is not responsible for the security of your car and its contents made me feel unsafe outside of the building.

My friends and I were in town for a wedding and I think this is a good deal. It was quiet, clean, and near most places that ... you'd want to go. Most of the hotels in downtown New Orleans charge for parking, so not having to do that is nice. I think I would stay there again if I went back to New Orleans.

It was a normal stay at a normal hotel. Nothing was extraordinary. The hotel was a little scary looking on the inside. The ... ceiling was peeling from previous roof damage. The elevator also worked really slow.

That sleepy New Orleans charm mildewed into a stale old room with peeling paint and a toilet that did not flush. I would not ... want to have my family stay at this hotel.

Very good meal at Drago's Seafood only a short drive away. The IHOP at the hotel was really good, with big breakfasts and friendly Romanian waitresses.

I was visiting family members with my 2 year old son. The hotel is in a good location and ihop is right next door to it, ... which is a plus, But the front desk lady was not friendly. I did not feel comfortable or welcomed, carpet seemed like it did not get vacummed and phone would ring at all time of the nights with hang ups.

Taxis are expensive so either drive your car or rent a car because you will need transportation. The IHOP connected to the hotel is usually very crowded on the weekends. There are no restaurants close by.
