perimeter mall is across the street and it is a nice one. lenox mall is only about 15 min south of the hotel, and it is nice as well.

We stayed on the 12th floor (preferred level) so they say. The temp. in the room felt like it never went below 78 degrees ... with the thermostat set at 60. The pool was dirty and full of leaves. The hot tub also had tons of leaves floating in it and only one of the four jets was working. My wife forgot her Juicy bathing suit in the room but when we called to see if the maid had turn it in they said that nothing was found left in the room. We had to pay ten dollars a night for self parking. Which we were not told until we checked out! Watch out for the $4.88 Fuji water bottle beside your bed thats not listed on the mini bar price list. The one good the about the hotel is the room service and breakfest but they will charge you an arm and a leg for everthing. Nothing is complamentary and i mean nothing! I stayed at the Hyatt hotel one month ago and the room was nicer than the one at The W with out having to pay anything when I checked out.

will not stay at this location again
weekend a bust May 30, 2009
i went to atlanta for a short getaway for memorial weekend,I checked in late saturday afternoon & by saturday night i wanted ... to check out.i wished i had taken a staycation instead.the room was nice, but both nights the hotel was very noise until 1230 0100 in the morning & we were on a upper floor. sunday afternoon the pool was full of children & toys & minor adult supervision as they too were trying to relax by the pool, as the kids were diving in & running around. we lasted a hour out there & called it a day. it was not a very relaxing visit. the staff neglected to tell me of exact charges that would be added to my room UNTIL after i had already checked in. I would not have even stayed at this hotel if I had known this ahead of time & when trying to explain this to the staff.we were the ones that were neglient???, This was our error? yes thats correct if the staff doesnt tell you something about chargees, You are the one at fault & they still expect you to pay for it.

MY STAY AT THE W WAS VERY GOOD. TH HOTEL WAS IN A VERY GOOD LOCATION WITH A MULTIPLE DINING AREA CLOSE BY. THE ROOM WAS ... CLEAN, NEAT AND RESEMBLED A SPA. I HAVE ALREADY RECCOMMENDED IT TO MY FRIENDS..

This was my first time going to a place so fantastic!. I went Valentine's Day Weekend to wine and dine my very special ... girlfriend, and she doesn't want to go anywhere else. It was hand down the best hotel I've ever been in! Now it is our quest to visit the W Hotels of the world!

The W Hotel in Atlanta was a great pleasure to stay in. It was one of the bright spots of my entire trip in Atlanta. I was ... very satisfied with all accommodations and the hotel staff. As soon as you walk in, you feel like you are in a spa-like atmosphere with modern-esque decor. I highly recommend this hotel, particularly for young people and hipster couples. If you decide to stay at the W hotel, you'll be sure to have a memorable experience... and you'll feel like you are spoling yourself rotten. Four stars!!! Enjoy!

Affordable Luxury

The Atlanta W is perfection. The amenities are clean and elegant and the staff is very friendly. The fresh fruit in the halls ... is a nice touch. The interior design of the hotel is very sofisticated. Not bad for the price.
