The 5 day rate was $420. I had to leave after 4 days and was charged the full $20 plus an extra $71.I don't plan on using ... [...] again or to stay at this motel again. Also plan to tell everyone I know about the rip-off.

Arrived late in the evening, the night clerk was friendly, well dressed, knowledgeable. Found the room clean and ... comfortable. enjoyed a restful night and a nice breakfast.

Used this hotel while attending an event at Stanford, because I can't afford Palo Alto prices. Staff very pleasant, rooms ... super clean and comfortable, and the place was reasonably quiet. It's not in a scenic location, but very easy access to Hwy 101 and a few minutes drive to good restaurants & pleasant neighborhoods. Not fancy, but good value. Only complaint: First floor rooms are centered around an atrium-style lobby with tables, chairs, & TV. At times I was bothered by noise of a TV blaring just outside my room door. Room on 2nd or 3rd floor would avoid this problem.

Enjoyed 8 nts. at this nice hotel, 8 miles North of Palo Alto and 20 miles South of San Fran., Aug. 3-11, 2009. SF airport ... just 10 miles North on Hwy. 101. We drove to the Stanford Univ. campus in Palo Alto daily, participating in the2009 National Senior Olympics. Great fun! Got a great discount price on Orbitz, also using a hotel code coupon number for another discount--can be found by checking for "hotel discount coupons" online. Big, clean room with nice furniture, pull-out couch, desk, and 2 phones. Comfy King bed with 5 feather pillows-a good showerhead in tub/shower/ shampoo, conditioner and lotion provided. Micro/refrig./and coffee maker in room. Pool is nice, small, but we didn't have time to use it. GREAT, full breakfast daily with 3 kinds of fresh fruit, hot waffels, hot/cold cereals, hard boiled/scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, yogurt, pastries, small muffins, bread for toast, English muffins, bagels, oj, coffee,and tea. More than enough daily. Two nts. of appetizers offered weekly, but we didn't have time to enjoy them. Fresh choc. chip cookies in lobby nightly. 2 computers/with printers in lovely, large, lobby sitting area for guests to use free. Friendly management willing to help guests. Only complaint was that the carpets needed cleaning, which will be done Aug. 17, according to management. All-in-all, we really enjoyed our stay. (McDonald's across the street, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell next door, and several other restaurants nearby on El Camino Real Rd.) Jo and Rick O'Connor Whitefish Bay, WI.

The room was good and the breakfast was standard. The location is nice, as is most of the staff. The night auditor, was ... rude when we showed up late in the evening.

Hotel is very clean and TOTALLY nonsmoking, so you don't get any stinky, stale smoke smell anywhere. The front desk staff is ... extremely polite, and hotel is very quiet. It's a little far from the center of things, but nothing that one can't live with.

It was very nice and calm place. Actually my purpose of the trip is to visit SF and I stayed here for 3 nights. Just 20 miles ... south of SF. It is a strategic location to San Jose, Sunneyvale and SF. Friendly staffs. No complaints at all.

Traveling on business and this hotel was just what we needed. Clean, well located, nice people, easy to get to. Couldn't have ... asked for more. Would go back, and will, if we ever need to stay over in that area again.

The Country Inn and Suites was a suitable stay for a night. Room was clean and quiet. Upon our arrival, though, a desk clerk ... did not appear to check us in for perhaps fifteen minutes. The place seemed deserted despite our ringing whatever service bells in sight. The first room we were sent to was quite noisy, the second smelled strongly of smoke - though this is a smoke free hotel - but the third room was clean and adequate. There also seemed to be a problem with the key cards. For each room we looked at, the key did n't work and we had to return to the desk for an adjustment.

Very pleasant experience. Clean room. Friendly staff. Nice neighborhood. Close to freeway. Arrived 2+ hours prior to check-in ... and recieved a room anyway. Optional dining facilities nearby. Small fitness room and good sized pool. Don't really have anything negative to say.

We came in 2 hours early for check-in but the front desk staff was very helpful. We didn't have to wait for 2 hours to check ... in. He got us a nice comfy room. The hotel seemed very pleasant except for the pool area...it was at located at the back of a gas station/car wash area. Though it was covered, it still seemed too open for public. There's lots of fast food places as well, taco bell next door and pizza hut, then across the street was Mc Donalds. Overall, we like this hotel and probably come back. I almost forgot..they also serve free continental breakfast. It was delicious!
