Great centralized location

The location was great, only about 5 miles from Shelburne (teddy bear factory, magic hat brewery, ben & jerry's) and also ... less than two miles from the waterfront (Lake Champlain) The room was okay, but a little small for the cost. Most of the staff were very friendly. The pool was average, but the courtyard was beautiful. Overall, it was an average experience.

If you get back to the hotel and decide you're not ready to turn in, behind the hotel is a Barnes & Noble. Very convenient

Checkin was a breeze and staff was extremely pleasant. I left my car there while traveling and the shuttle service to and ... from the airport was excellent.

The Doubletree Burlington was just an all around good experience. The room itself was a little small, but on vacation, who ... spends much time in the hotel room? The room we got had a king-sized bed, a desk, and an armchair. The mirror and sink were separate from the bathroom, so I could get ready while my husband was in the bathroom. The hotel staff were also extremely helpful and friendly. On the days we didn't want housekeeping service, they hung extra towels on our door! There is also a restaurant in the hotel (Trader Duke's). It was good food, but a bit overpriced. The hotel is also near a Starbucks, Moe's, Burger King, and several other restaurants. However, it was not really within walking distance of downtown - a bus or car would be necessary.
