Stayed in Bothell to enjoy a visit with family. This hotel offered clean and spacious rooms and a pleasant stay. A very ... comfortable visit. Noisy room doors were a nuisance, but that is common to most hotels.

Very disappointed with my stay.

When I made my reservation I specifically reserved a non-smoking room with 2 queen beds for my co-worker and I. We were a ... late check-in as I had indicated that I would be when I made the reservation. We were told that all the non-smoking room were unavailable so we had to sleep in a room that smelled like an ash tray. The bathroom was dirty with black hair all over and there was no little fridge to keep anything cold. The air conditioning kept going on and off so the fan noise would stop and then jolt you right when you thought you were going to finally drift off. The walls were thin and it was easy to hear others tvs and music on the 2nd floor and from the court yard. I would not pay $100 for an 8 hour sleepless stay in this smelly, noisy, uncomfortable hotel again.

This my second time that I stayed at the Country Inn and suite and I found this stay as good as it was in 2008 at Niagra ... Falls. Hotel availabilities are almost unlimited but I will be sure to make this hotel chain my first choice. I could not find anything to fault this hotel during my stay. Checking in was very fast and all paper had been prepared awaiting my arrival. This was the fastest I had ever been checked in at a Hotel. Likewise for checking out. Staffs were outstanding.

Alderwood Mall is about 15-20 minutes from the hotel. It has a wide variety of shops and restuarants.

Quaint and Quiet

The Country Inn & Suites by Carlson is an adequate hotel in a rual area. There are not many things close to the hotel. There ... is shopping about 15-20 minutes away from the hotel. It is very quiet and alot of trees. The breakfast is more than just the continental breakfast, it has eggs, bacon, susage and more and is a wonderful value. The dinner menu is excellent, the steaks are very good.
