Plumbing needs work

The room was clean and well provisioned (pillows, towels, shampoo, cups, coffee). The shower needs work. The spout drips ... constantly and the diverter only diverts half the water to the showerhead. The flow from the sink spout is slight making washing up slow work. Flushing toilet requires holding the handle down to complete the flush. Rooms on the Rte 105 side are susceptable to traffic noise. Breakfast was good.

The hotel was great!Close to Grandfather Mountain, Linville Gorge, Caverns and Falls. The Blue Ridge Parkway was just a few ... miles away and we saw leanty of bears and deer. The indoor pool was great to jump in after a day of hiking. The continental breakfast wasn't bad but there are issues with the hot water in our room. It seems that the hotel, been "green" limits the use of hot water to a 90 seconds per person. When I complained nothing was done. Aside from that, I will stay there again and again...

The BAD: We booked online for the indoor pool, when we arrived, it was closed! The cable/TV was fuzzy at best on every ... channel. The GOOD: The room/motel was VERY nice and very clean. The inroom wireless worked great. The desk clerk was very helpful and saved us some $$ buying our tickets onine with the motel discount.

See Tweetsie Railroad. This was our first time and our 7 and 8 year old kids loved it. The website does not show everything. We stayed 6 hours! We will be back!

Great value, good location and easy access to Boone Area. I've stayed here before and the quality and service have been ... consistant on both stays. Rooms are average size, clean and have easy access from the front or back of building. Hotel has a lot to offer without breaking your budget.

We enjoyed our stay at this motel. Everyone of the staff was friendly. The food served at breakfast was well stocked and nice ... variety. We would stay again. The beds are a little harder than we are use too however. Although we did not need to use some amenatives such as the iron and iorning board and hair dryer it was nice to have them just in case. It would have been nice if there had been some instruction on the use of the heat settings. I would get us to cold then to hot. What can I say , we enjoyed our stay.
