Upon arrival in our room I noticed it was much smaller than other Extended Stays which I have been at. Our heater was so ... noisy that it over powered the TV in the room. I asked about the noise at the front desk and was told 'they are all noisy' and there was nothing they could do about it. No dishwasher soap was available, room cleaning was only weekly, had to hunt down staff to get additional coffee and soap for the room.

Only a small handful of restaurants deliver to this hotel, and there is no onsite resuaurant. I suggest going grocery shopping for some basics as soon as you get there. There is a large grocery store accross the street.

The Stone Zoo is just about ten minutes away and is an alright place to visit. Small but it allows you to really see things on a different level than the larger parks.

Felt like Home, only cleaner
Single country gal Jun 21, 2009
Looking for a less expensive opotion than downtown Boston, and needing to stay several nights, this was a great option. ... This type of hotel saves itself money by having only weekly maid service, no breakfast to speak of, and forget about a fancy lobby or those little bottles of shampoo. What it does have are spacious, well designed studios with comfortable living rooms and a kitchen, for the price of a standard hotel room. If you are somewhat self sufficient, have time to get groceries durning your trip, and appriciate haveing a little home away from home, you'll probly love this place.

Good Enough
Scott May 25, 2009
The experience was good but there was really nothing there to do in the surrounding area. When I asked the desk clerk for a ... good place to eat, she had no place to recommend. That really put me off so next time, I will stay closer to Boston and just deal with the traffic.

Good for the price
Jocelyn Oct 7, 2007
The Woburn Extended Stay is a good value for the price paid. I stayed in a room with a queen bed and a sleeper sofa. The ... sofa was very uncomfortable. The room was not divided, so the kitchen and sofa were in the bedroom. The room did not have enough chairs; there was a kitchen chair and a leather desk chair and the desk that doubled as the kitchen table. If you stay less than a week they do not clean your room unless you pay an additional fee, but you can take your towels to the laundry to exchange them for new ones. You also have to take out your own trash. The internet access is not free; it was $3.99 for the stay. There is only a minifridge in the kitchen. There are no ice machines in the hotel, and only an outdoor pool. The hotel is across the street from a mini-mall, with a large grocery store, liquor store, craft store, and a bank, so it was very convenient. There is also a chinese restaurant next door, but I can't vouch for its quality. There is a large shopping mall within 5 miles that has Target, Lowes, restaurants, etc. All in all, it was a fine experience. All staff members were courteous.

The hotel was easy to find, but, if you are visiting Boston, you should know that it is about a half hour drive.

Convenient to 95/128, good deal
Susan Sep 28, 2007
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I had to check out before the 6:30a breakfast and was delighted to find bagels ... available at 6. Extremely convenient to route 95/128. I needed access to Arlington/Cambridge areas for family medical issues, and this was perfect. Just hopped on 3S past Mystic lakes to Arlington and Cambridge. The large Burlington mall is one or two exits away, full of and surrounded by restaurants and a food court. I saw there was a supermarket across the way, but didn't figure out how to get there & back to the hotel late at night when I was tired. Note that this is barely a touch north of 128/95, so very convenient. Not much to do nearby, but a great deal if you're visiting various places by car. If you want to do a day trip to Cape Ann (Gloucester/Rockport/Essex) or Maine, closer from here than from downtown Boston. I'd stay here again.

Non-smoking room smelled!
Erika Sep 24, 2007
When we first checked in, the room smelled of smoke. They let us switch to another room with no problem. But, the second ... room also smelled. We were able to find another hotel with available rooms after 3 nights.

Nothing fancy, but nice
Settihalli Sep 3, 2007
Location was good (just off Interstate Hwy 95). Hotel was clean and neat. I was a bit disappointed with the room - it was a ... suite, but in actuality it is just a large room with a queen bed and a sofa sleeper and a kitchenette (unlike other suites in the area where I have stayed before which had a separate bedroom with doors). Overall, quite a nice place if you don't mind the lack of a private bedroom.
