Men only???
Phyl from NY Nov 29, 2009
We were in the area to spend Thanksgiving with family. The location was great; and enjoyed the kitchenette in the room with ... frig, microwave and sink; dishes provided. We were greatly disappointind to not be able to get a WiFi connection in the room, although they advertise that they have it. signal was too poor to be able to connect. Cleaning services are minimal...take out your own garbage; unmake your bed if you want fresh linens; do your own dishes; or PAY for additional services. Also the room was very noisy, both from outside sounds and from the room above us and beside us. You could hear conversations, television, water running, things thumping on the foor, air conditioner unit outside running, etc.

Golf in the desert
Jerry R. Jun 19, 2009
The Westgate Painted Mountain Golf Resort was just what I needed. I needed a hotel that was in Mesa, close to my daughter, ... close to golf and clean. The hotel met all those requirements.
Traveler type: Single
The golf course linked to the hotel was fun and inexpensive. Not to mention the hotel was close to high end courses such as Longbow.

Neighborhood feel
Linda Oct 19, 2008
Red Mountain High School Football grandparents who visit from out state will love this place. Friendly and helpful ... reception. Dinning discounts at the restaurant just across the parking area. If you are fortunate you have views of the mountain and overlook the golf course. We will stay again in the spring for graduation.

Looking for a peaceful setting.....
Crystal Jun 17, 2007
At the Westgate Painted Mountain Golf Resort if you love to play Golf this might just be the spot for you to check out. The ... Golf course is located just beside half of the Resort. If you are looking to dine in or out their is a resturant with in walking distance from your room. I myself did not care to much for the restaurant. I felt the help was not around to even seat you. I had to go looking for someone. I went on three different occasions to see if maybe things would be better. Not the case though. As far as the check in process it was extremly slow. The young lady at the counter charged more then she was suppost to for the room rate. I had to speak with someone else the next day about this. As far as the check out I feel the help was very good. I even asked for a late check out. Of course there was a fee for that. Overall if you love golf in a nice peaceful setting you should go to Westgate Painted Mountain Golf Resort.
