When we checked in, the first room wasn't clean, no air conditioner and no cable tv-local channels only & not received very ... well. After move to second room, we had all of the above.

Hotel was decently priced for location. Lots of Resturants and Fast Food places nearby. Denny's and Starbucks in the same ... parking lot. Had issues with neighboring room. Walls must be somewhat thin, due to constant complaints of our room being too loud at 3:30 in the afternoon! Normal talking was all that took place. Staff was decent and sheets were clean. Shower was too powerful. Almost stinging skin. Other than that, was a decent nights stay for the price.

There are a number of fast food facilities in the same shopping Plaza the hotle is located in. Above all Starbucks, which is useful as the hotel wireless service is always out of order. I was there 2 weeks and it did not work once.

Depending on what you like to eat, there are a variety of restaurants and types of food a short walk from the hotel. Even a starbucks about 2 min. away!

Not a great place to stay

The Claremont hotel has great tennis courst and a decent pool, but the rooms, location, management and general state of the ... property leave much to be desired. This is not not a 3-star property. It is run down and dirty. Also, in the 2 weeks I stayed there the wireless internet, was always down. I had to go to Starbucks to check my mail.

Aside from the pool and the tennis courts, this hotel was not a good place to be. The rooms were run down and awful. The ... shower didn't work. The wireless internet never worked. Had to go to Starbucks.

great for basics

My fiance and I stayed here only for the basic need of sleeping and showering and that sort of thing. I was in town for a ... conference and he just went out on the town so we didn't spend the days there. Dining was very available with a Denny's right next door to the hotel (in front of it actually) for any time guests might arrive or want food. It was really accessible to the freeway and they were very flexible on check-in time because normal check-in was at 4 p.m. and we arrived at 11 p.m.

The room was comfortable with lots of room. Our room was close to the pool, where we sat out in the evening. Denny's was ... next door and other eating places to walk to.
