If youu don't mind a 5 minute walk to the subway each day this is the perfect hotel. Cleanest rooms I have ever seen. My ... daughter and I spent the evening after walking all day around town at this very comfortable and very accomodating hotel. I am very particular and the only thing that would make this a 5 star hotel to me is being in the center of downtown. For the price difference, if you can walk to the subway for 5 minutes each way you can't go wrong. Thank you [...] Marriott

Our first trip to Boston was very nice mostly because the staff at the hotel were so helpful. We got in late and had not had ... dinner. The man working at the desk directed us to a great place. Through out our stay at the hotel, this person (don't know his name) was great. He was friendly(which was unusual for Mass we found), helpful, and took care of business. One other staff, a woman (looked like a girl) was not friendly or helpful. We would certainly recommend this hotel and will stay at other Marriott's in the future.

Hotel is 5 minutes from the T station, 35 minute walk from Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. Just off highway, but ... still quiet. Pool small, but noone else in it when I was using it. Very close to shopping mall with Target and Home Depot. Free parking a definite plus. Have stayed in this hotel before, and expect to again.

My fiance and I really loved where the hotel was located. Just a short ten minute walk to the T, it was perfect! WE got a ... great hotel, for a great price, even in the city of Boston. I especially liked walking past the Dunkin Donuts every time :). Maids were always good at taking our dirty towels and replacing us with new ones. Family Vacation
Beth Jul 12, 2009
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The only complaint, which isn't a reflection on the hotel at all, is the ... nearest subway, Andrew Square. We were told the first night there that we probably wouldn't want to take that subway and short walk back to the hotel at night. So, to get around that, we would get off at Broadway and take a cab back to the hotel. Can't comment on the pool...our schedule was so busy with everything to take in while in Boston we didn't get to check it out. The shuttle was punctual, staff friendly, rooms extremely clean, and totally serene! We had a great time in the hotel and in the city of Boston!

If you are interested in seeing places outside of the city such as Plimouth Plantation or Salem; book a tour through Grayline Tours. We went on two while in Boston and the drivers were great! The Beantown Trolley will pick you up at the hotel at 8:40 to drive you to the place to get on the bus. We really enjoyed these tours!

Shippin' Up To Boston Jul 10, 2009
It was a really great place to stay and is actually better then the Courtyard Marriott that is in the theater district near ... The Commons. The only downside to this place is that it is a little bit of a trip out of the city on the T. But if you don't mind an extra 20 minute trip to your hotel, this is the place.

There is only one T that runs after midnight and you could be standing around a while to get it. I recommend you head back before midnight unless you want to take a taxi.
