the hotel was just what we wanted, everything we needed was there. The room was a little worn but it was very clean. I had ... asked for a handicapped accessible room and that request was ignored. I have MS and it's hard to get around. They didn't have enough pillows. The world class coffee bar they boast about was missing and the continental breakfast was a choc.chip muffin. I was not really bothered by all this but I write to you because some people would have had a fit over the room. And when I booked the room, the map that you show makes it appear as though we are one block from the strip, not even close.

Since the hotel is beyond walking distance to the strip, the best transportation is your own vehicle. Go to the valet parking at the Casino you are visitng and it will only cost you a five dollar tip and that my friends is well worth it!

The hotel's location [...] was not accurate. it was not near koval street, which is walking distance to the strip. It was 1 ... or 2 miles further, past Maryland parkway, which changed the entire trip. That is extremely misleading. Had to take buses and cabs everywhere. Also the carpet in the halls and the room was in desperate need of a shampoo. Other than that, it was pretty clean, it was very convenient to have a kitchen, the price was good, and the free coffee bar in the lobby was good in the morning.

What a Dump!
Deeply Disappointed Oct 5, 2009
This hotel was a total disappointment and I will never stay in an Extended Stay again because of it. The stairwell smelled ... of urine, the carpets seemed like they have never been cleaned, the lobby smelled of cigarette smoke, the room was a disaster, was dirty, had no clean towels, the remote for the tv didnt work, the bed was hard as a rock, and the air conditioner didn't work. (Not to mention the prostitutes walking around the street in front of the hotel, which isn't the hotels fault) We left a day early and ate the cost of the night because I wouldn't allow myself to go back there. If I could give it negative stars I would. We even went to the wrong extended stay when we checked in and even the employee laughed when he told us about the "deluxe" we had actually made our reservations at. What a joke this place was!

XOXO Sep 16, 2009
We went with friends at a spur of the moment trip to Vegas suggestion. With not a whole lot of time to plan we stayed at the ... Extended Stay and were pleased with our choice. It was about 3 miles away from the strip and not less than a mile as the site lists but we were satisfied with the room. The only problem we had was the lack of towels in the room.

My Stay in Vegas
Kumar Sep 11, 2009
Good: The Hotel Location is perfect, Olive Garden right across the street, CVS Pharmacy, Albertsons in shopping complex next ... to it and 5 minutes drive to Strip. The facilities in the room were great like kitchenette with microwave, fridge, dishwasher were excellent. Bad: The Carpet and the rooms are bit old. Also we got the room at the far end of the hotel and there is only one elevator at the front.

Not the nicest place in town
Julie May 12, 2009
My husband and I were traveling through Las Vegas on our way to Arizona. Orbits booked us at a different hotel than the one ... requested on their site, but because we arrived so late, there was not much we could do about it so we just stayed there. This hotel felt very old and dirty. The location was in a bad part of town. Homeless people hung out day and night at the vacant, boarded up building next door. The street was far from the Las Vegas strip and on a very busy road. Sirens blared all night! While the kitchen in the room was convenient, the refrigerator made loud noises all night. The beds were horribly uncomfortable. I could feel the springs. Definatley not a place to get a good nights rest!

Couldn't Find What Was Deluxe About It
Heather May 11, 2009
We had to go back to the front desk twice because our room keys didn't work. Finally we were upgraded to a larger room. It ... wasn't very clean, the bed was really hard and there was only one large bath towel. When we asked for another, the front desk said there weren't any. All the equipment in the exercise room was out of order. We won't stay here again.

betty boop Apr 23, 2009
Would not stay there again. Not a very nice room, things out of date and messed up. Man at desk was very polite though. But ... were told what time the buffet would open up but when went down for it nothing was there. Finally found someone to ask about it and was then told a different time. Went down at the different time and there still was nothing there. For people going to a business meeting this could be a problem. Definately would not stay there again.

Nice price for near the strip
Michael Sep 23, 2007
Extended Stay Deluxe Las Vegas was a good value for the price, but a little hard to locate because it has a small sign in ... front of the hotel. It is across from the Olive Garden restaurant and the Blueberry Pancake House. The Blueberry Pancake House is not to be missed. Great breakfasts and good lunch and dinner items too. Two and a quarter miles from the strip, the hotel is far enough away from the hussle and bussle of the strip and close enough to walk to, if it is not too hot. Staff is very professional, but the safes in the rooms are not available because they lack keys. Also, don't drink from the lobby water fountain, it's green from improper cleaning, if it is cleaned at all. Other than that, it is a good quiet hotel with clean rooms with kitchenettes.
Traveler type: Single
Tell the cab driver the hotel is across from the Olive Garden Restaurant and the Blueberry Pancake House, it is unlikely they will see the hotel sign which is very small. The hotel is on the north side of the street and set in quite a ways from the street.
