Horrible stay this time
cmeharris Nov 16, 2009
I stay at this location every year and have neveer had an experience like the one I had this weekend. There were roaches in ... the first room, the second room the heat did not work finally the third room was up to the standard that I am use to when I stay at this hotel. The Night desk slerk was not apologetic in the issues that I had. My sister was in her room and another guest was checked into her room and tried to get in. The desk clerk then came back to the room and actually opened the door and was only stopped by the bar on the door. This same guest was then checked into the room that I had moved from that had the roaches which I was told would be closed off until treatment was done. I was very disappointed with my stay this year and will not return on my future visits.

Nice 1-Star hotel--Conveniently located
Bobby Sep 5, 2009
I reserved a room in this hotel for my wife and 13 month-old daughter visiting me for my birthday while I attended technical ... school at Little Rock Air Force Base. Check-in was straightforward. Agent was very courteous. The room was neat/clean but in general nowhere near the standards were were expecting out of a 3-Star hotel, which clearly was not. The beds had hard and flat mattresses, the TV was ancient and the wi-fi access would have intermittent connectivity all day. However, the room can with a half-size fridge--very nice since we had to store baby food/milk for our daughter. Another plus is that it's yards away from Little Rock Air Force Base, where I go to attend technical training. The hotel had a good environment and services for a 1-Star overall. However, what normally comes with staying at a 1-Star or a hostel is considering your personal safety against other residents who may have a problem with you outside of your room because of how you look, etc. I didn't feel completely comfortable with my wife and daughter staying there. Check-out was quick and effortless. Overall, the stay was good. My biggest problem was this hotel being advertised as a 3-Star when it is definitely a 1-Star. I do not recommend for families for personal safety considerations that always come with staying at a 1-Star/hostel. For lone travelers wanting to save money this is pretty good.

Nice place to stay
Just travelling home. Jul 10, 2009
Emailed ahead and they had a room with a recliner waiting when I arrived at 8PM.Very friendly, helpful check in by [...] and ... continued with other staff when asking direction in the morning. This is a former Hampton Inn, in better condition than many current Hampton's I have stayed in.Pool was clean and clorinated properly with extra towels by pool.Bed was comfortable, 3 types of coffee in room.2 types of shampoo (Pantene Pro-V & Jade)Pride is obviously taken in maintaining this facility.Room was cool when I arrived and the refrigerator and microwave were new and worked perfectly.Nitpicks: phone cord not long enough to reach the recliner or the bed.Hair dryer was noisy enough to call the EPA about noise pollution. Actually hurt my ears.Larger entry light over suitcase area was burned out, but small one nearer door worked.Breakfast adequate, though mostly carbohydrates. All yogurt had aspartame, a dangerous toxin. . . but so do many foods.Bananas not ripe.A little noisy, but I am VERY sensitive to noise.Quiet after midnight.12 miles north of I-40 on a nice SW-NE road (67).If you are like me and prefer traveling on state roads rather than the superslabs this is right on your route.3-3.5 star hotel at a 2 star price.I will stay here on my next trip through the area.

The staff was very courteous and friendly. Checkin took about 1 minute. They had everything prepared when I walked up to ... the counter. Continental breakfast should have a variety of donuts, bagels, muffins instead of microwaveable items. Overall the experience was above average and definitely a great value for the price. If I come to the Little Rock area, I will definitely stay there again.
