Great Room, Great Size
D.C. Traveler Oct 6, 2009
The hotel was great, the room was very spacious and the bathroom was larger than the average hotel bathroom. Three people ... could get ready in front of the mirror which is rare. The hotel was right next to the Dunn Loring metro station which is a short ride into D.C. Great location, great room.

misleading advertisement
Art Aug 3, 2009
I was disappointed at many levels. Although, the ad. said complementary breakfast, after reservation is maid, no print out ... evidence is provided. Customer realizes this after eating breakfast and finding out that he has to pay for it. I am sure with this tactic hotel can have a few more customers, but customers that are very unhappy and won't return. A business to last should have returning customers. But obviously, that is not what the objective of the management is.

Close to Metro
Mr. D Aug 1, 2009
The location was great for traveling into D.C. by the Metro. From our hotel window we could see the Dunn Loring Metro ... Station. The walk to the station was about 0.1 mile. The hotel is completely smoke-free. Underground parking was convenient. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The nights were quiet and free of ambient noise.

Good Stuff
Lindsey D Jul 17, 2009
This was a great hotel to stay at and I would recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The pool was off site and gym was ... very hard to find making it not receive 5 star in my book. The other downfall was that the breakfast buffet cost $11.95! Kind of steep for me! Other than that the room was spotless and taxi service is really easy to arrange with the front desk into DC or anywhere else nearby.

There is a great cluster of restaurants about 3/4 of a mile away. There was Chipotle (Mexican Grill), Coldstone, Four Sisters (Vietnamese), and my favorite - Noodles and Co. Great pasta and very reasonable price!

Great place to stay for DC visit!
Cincinnati Traveler Jul 14, 2009
There are several restaurants, bars and stores within walking distance of the hotel. Great location near Metro stop. All ... sights and points of interest easily reachable via the Metro system. Transportation system outstanding when bus system combined w/rail transportation. Our room at the hotel was really comfortable and spacious. We had a great balcony, but no chairs or table available to use. Our king-sized bed was really comfortable and relaxing for sleeping. The room certainly compared very favorably with rooms that we have had for previous vacations. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice place to stay while visiting the DC area.

A really great little 50's style diner 'The Silver Diner' was just down a couple of traffic lights from the hotel. Nearby were Panera's, a large sports bar, several ethnic restaurants and an ethnic food store/grocery.

Kansas Traveler Jul 11, 2009
For visitors to the DC area, the Courtyard by Marriott in Dunn Loring is wonderful. Complementary parking and in-room ... internet is a plus, as is the very near Metro station. Breakfast is a bit expensive, but there are several nearby restaurants as an option.

Loved the place
Tamarin Jun 22, 2009
The room was beautiful and very well kept for us. Internet access was easy and the breakfast was great. We used the easy ... walk to the Metro to go to the Zoo and it was easy, smooth and pleasant. Parking at the hotel was underground so it was out of the weather which was great since it rained the weekend we were there. All the staff were very helpful telling us how to get to places and even the drug store(which was only a few block away) for an unexpected medicine. The neighborhood was not really nice because there was alot of construction but there was no noise and the hotel made up for it. We will definitely go there for our next trip to DC. It was even close to Tysons Corner mall, largest in DC!

The hotel is located right across the street from the Dunn Loring metro station and is very convenient! The hotel is very ... clean, and the rooms were spacious enough for a single traveler. Dining options are somewhat limited for the weekend if you do not have a car, because the restaurant downstairs does not serve lunch or dinner on the weekends.

"Unbeatable location for the price"
Larry Apr 22, 2009
This hotel is a block from the Metro station and as such is minutes away from everything in downtown D.C. It really is a ... great value and a great location. The rooms are well appointed and the beds are very comfortable. They have a great breakfast buffet, as well. This is my home away from home in D.C.

The hotel was a great value for the price. Rooms were large and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel is easy to get to ... and has secured underground parking. I was disappointed with the dining options at the hotel, which simply consisted of a breakfast buffet that was relatively costly (around $15) and a snack bar that sold drinks, candy bars, and chips.

The room we had was very acceptable to us.Also the hotel personnel were very accommodating.Being one block from the metro ... made it very accessable for us.Parking was free and so were our breakfasts which saved us $100 for a two night stay The only complaint that we had was the length of time the metro takes to get to Washington DC which is about 30 minutes.
