[...]I was staying there ... while waiting to meet my lost daughter of over 30 years ago and the hotel staff and management were very nice and kept me calmed down. The shopping at the Phipps Plaza is a little expensive, but you have a mall across the street with all your shopping amenities you need.

Great location, staff and room

I was very impressed when I first walked into the lobby. It was very clean and the staff greated you as soon as you aproached ... the desk. They had a courtesy shuttle that would take you any where within a 2 mile radius and pick you up when you were ready to be picked up. My room was spotless!! The only issue was the TV remote did not function properly, but they had that taken care of by the time I had gotten back to my room.

It was a very nice hotel. We enjoyed our stay and would book it again. Although we were suppose to get the third night free ... at check out?? They said you give us our money back?? Yet online it said they would. THe only other thing that was bad was they charged $15.00 a night for parking in their garage.

While at the hotel we visited many of the venues which were close by. There are great restaurants, malls, and fun within 5-10 ... mins of the hotel. The hotel stay was perfect for a weekend getaway from the kids. We enjoyed a complimentary continental breakfast each morning with waffles, eggs, cereal, etc. The rooms were cleaned daily, even if you were present in the room. I would recommend that my friends stay here. This was one of the best weekends my husband and I have experienced in a while.

Great location but somewhat rundown

We chose this hotel for it's location - it was a short drive to our downtown destinations, close to Chastain Park for the ... concert we attended, and within walking distance of really great restaurants, shopping and entertainment. The room we selected was supposed to have 2 queen beds, but they seemed more like doubles and the television was rather awkwardly situated between the beds and the living room space. The furniture was somewhat rundown and there was a water leak that made the carpet next to the bathroom wet (which we reported and will hopefully be fixed). The common areas (reception, lounge etc) were very nice, however the indoor pool was small. We would most likely stay there again, perhaps with just two people in the room rather than three.

Great location, nice room, lukewarm water for bathing, nice breakfast and lobby. Front desk staff were disinterested in any ... questions we had once they knew we booked through Orbitz. They charged for parking even though the Sidestep.com website stated that parking was free and said they couldn't do anything about it because we booked through Orbitz. We wanted to book an extra night and they said they couldn't help us because we booked through Orbitz and if we wanted another night we would have to do everything seperately and they couldn't really help with that. Several other questions were met with apathy and attitude. Will use Orbitz again, will stay in that general area again, will not use that hotel.

Easy to get to many great restaurants; NAVA, Buckhead Diner, and Rosa Mexicano. Easy to get to GA 400 to go to North Georgia Premium Outlets - 30 min away. Close to Lenox and Marta station. Easy to get to Atlantic Station and IKEA.
