Adequate
ET Nov 9, 2009
Front desk staff were very nice and accomodating, sometimes too busy..., This property is really a motel, with all exterior ... doors. Room cielings are painted with a gloss white paint, probably to keep mold and dust down. The bthrooms are small wth rust and mold inthe corners of the walls, floors and ceilings. Our bathroom area did not have an operable exhaust fan. For the price the room was adequatley clean, and refreshed promptly after we left for the day. The grounds are well kept. Did not visit the pool or other amenities. Just used this place to lay our heads down at night after visiting the parks. Beds had divots, so I slept on an air mattress on the floor. For $40 a night no complaints. I think they could put in some exta effort in some areas and raise prices.

Good for family vacation
Tiffany Super Mom Nov 2, 2009
My husband had a business meeting, so I followed him and I brought our kids with us. By the way, we just wanted to stay ... there a couple of nights to enjoy Halloween shows. If they have a continental breakfast for adults, that would be great. They just had free breakfast for kids, but the adults have to buy breakast there to get free for kids. We have to pay even a cup of coffee. At the other hotels you can have free coffee and "plain" breakfast.

For the price, I didn't expect much. However, the staff is very friendly; the rooms are clean and very accessible so ... unloading luggage is a snap. They have a store and restaurant which has good variety. Room service for breakfast, lunch and dinner is available - at reasonable prices. I visit Kissimmee several times a year and I will certainly stay here next time.

It's a motel - not a "hotel and suites"
Not Satisfied Sep 20, 2009
Upon arrival at check in - the attendant advises you to go to a desk for a map of the area - this is a TRICK!!! When you get ... to the desk for your map, the attendant there tries to convince and pressure you to join in on a timeshare. Additionally, this place should not be called "hotel and suites"; this place is more like a motel. When we walked in the room it smelled horrible, the fridge wasn't cold, there was a dead roach on the floor, the bed linens had the worst smell and while heading out to dinner we discovered the room door wouldn't lock. They fixed the door issue but when we returned it wouldn't open - so we had to wait outside for someone to get there to fix the door issues. We will NEVER stay there again.

Moved to another room. DISGUSTING!!!@ Mold and mildew growing all over the bathroom walls. Toilet and tub were filthy. Dead roaches in the floor. Moved to third room. Acceptable.

Really, it was fine. It was a bed in a room. The beds were doubles. The sheets didn't even go all the way to the foot of ... the bed. The caulk was coming up in the bathroom. Old, loud AC. It was cheap though and quite close to DisneyWorld.

Forde! Aug 30, 2009
The hotel room was very nice and the children loved their character room divided by the partition with 3 bunkbeds. However, ... the location of the hotel was in a "not so nice" part of town, and the children's room/partition was against the front window. Felt unsafe with child bed next to front window. Air conditioner was leaking and left front of carpet wet.

Disney Traveler Aug 27, 2009
We spent this trip at Disney World... the hotel was very convenient for that, a perfect distance, easy to get there. It was ... also quiet at night. The room though was only kind-of clean - the towels were delivered dirty (gunky stuff actually in them!) and there was a tissue on the floor after the room was cleaned - right as we walked in.

OK place to stay for the money
Shelli Aug 10, 2009
My boyfriend and I came to Kissimmee for my Birthday. I chose this hotel from the pictures and the reviews I read. The ... service at the front desk was up to par with other hotels. The hotel is made up of two, two-story buildings. From the outside you can tell that this is an older hotel that they've worked on to make look newer. But it needs a little more work. We were on the second floor. There is no elevator and where the air conditioners water runs out onto the concrete walkway, there are cracks forming. It makes it kind of scary to walk across. They've patched some up, but others are well defined. The room itself was also updated, but could use a little more. It had new carpet. But there was a musty smell that wasn't too horrible, but very noticeable. The refrigerator and microwave was nice, but no coffee maker. The pools were huge and accomodated a lot of people. Even though there were many, many people in the pools, it was still nice for just me and boyfriend to spend some time together. The hottub was unbelievably HOT. I've been in hottubs before and this one was toooo hot. There is a KFC almost right in the parking lot of this hotel. Old Town is about two to three blocks away. Also, because 192 is such a busy street it really helps that this hotel is at a stop light. Very convenient and safe.

Once inside, you will most likely be enticed to buy your theme park tickets at a discount from someone at the desk. Please be advised that this person is NOT an agent of Seralago OR Disney or any of the parks, but of a new timeshare resort (which is what most of Orlando is now) "Orange Lake". They WILL get your park passes at a cheaper rate, but not until after you sit through a tour and hard sell pitch of their facility. What was supposed to be a 90 minute only presentation with breakfast provided was actually well over a couple hours of lost time at the parks for us, and that breakfast was mini donuts. Once I went to the bathroom, our pushy saleswoman basically cornered my companion about why he came to the presentation and did he only do it for the cheap tickets. That is how & why most people end up stuck in those and they are usually not worth it. It was like being at a used car lot, when she couldn't sign us, she sent her manager out, who then sent another manager out. The 40,000 timeshare deal was drastically reduced to less than 8,000!!! Unbelieveable!!

Eat the Ponderosa breakfast and dinner buffet. It was the cheapest and was very good. It is right across the street and if you are going to Universal Studios or Seaworld the Comfort Suites next door has a free shuttle. Just an FYI as the Seralago charges $14 per person.
