The hotel is by the freeway, so you are fast at hollywood, long beach and other places. Nice hotel but a litle bit old. ... with 2 tall kids we'd better could have had 2 rooms. Also a mall was nearby so that was easy

The rooms were nice and clean, always had a nice clean smell and the beds were extra cozy. I travelled with a 6 month old ... and a 2 year old and was very happy with the ammenities. The staff was very nice and willing to accommodate our every need they even gave us each a warm cookie upon check in, definite bonus for my little girl...would definitley recommend!

Doubletree Hotel Carson was a really great Hotel. The rooms were large and clean and the beds were so comfortable, the ... mattress's were great. The staff at the hotel was so helpful in all areas of need with a family. The sports complex was just down the road and you had to pass a mall to get there which had a lot of eating places. I would recommend it to others definitely.

The beaches are close by wherever you drive, plus if your staying there on the 4th of July, you can look out your window and see fireworks all over the sky.

Great for Business and Activities

This Hotel is great for business affairs and having other activities. It always has different groups hosting their business ... and is very popular for these activities and there are different groups everyday, its not boring at all. I like staying there. The location was good, it was near the mall for sh opping and the rooms were adequate and comfortable. I felt safe in this enviroment because there was always someone around.

Generally the staff were very helpful and responsive, especially a front desk clerk who helped me resolve a billing error. ... The guest room was clean and well kept. The bathroom had been renovated, which was nice. It was strange, though, that the hotel had the green environmental linens and towels replacement policy. The towel hook was totally inadequate to accommodate soiled towels beyond the immediate usage, deterring compliance by hotel guests. In addition to price, the restaurant and Fitness Center influenced by decision to stay at that hotel property. The restaurant was adequate, food was fine and affordable. The Fitness Center had not been cleaned; the equipment was dirty and needed to be upgraded. A weight bench, resistance equipment,water, and towels should be added. Elevators dirty.
