Perfect location, lovely people

Perfect location right at Checkpoint Charlie. Very obliging and friendly staff. Our first trip to Berlin and would stay ... there again in a minute. For a relatively small hotel, they had an amazing breakfast buffet with very good coffee. Great way to start the day.
Traveler type: Couples
For the jet-lagged, as we were they recommended a bistro, L'Entrecote, only a block away, for dinner the first night. It was a spot-on suggestion

Great Location, very central. Accommodations were great; but not plush and some things were a little bare bones by 4 star ... standards. Perfect suite for traveling family. Will be back to see all that we missed.

This was a great hotel. It has a good location and is nearby many of the sites of Berlin. The staff at the hotel is very ... friendly and helpful and the rooms are a good size for a European hotel.

There is a great Italian restaurant close by and if you ask at the front desk about it they will give you a card so you will receive 10% off the bill.

Obviously, with the name the hotel is close to some historic areas of Berlin and close to public transportaion that will allow you access to the entire city.

Friendly staff, clean room

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and very helpful. Room was large and there was adequate hanging space for ... clothing. Breakfast buffet was good - formal restuarant for evening but they did have room service and light meal service in the bar area in the evening. Room was good size and I liked that the bathroom was seperate from the vanity/shower area. Hotel was conveniently located to public transportation.
