We feel that this hotel is our little hide-away. Although not too far off the freeway, when staying at the Larkspur in ... Bellevue we feel like we are away from the noise and congestion of the Seattle area, and that we have our own little home away from home. We enjoy the healthy breakfast and the peace and quiet of this place, as well as the friendly front desk service, not to mention the fantastic bed!

jon jon Sep 10, 2009
Clean, Quiet room with a heavenly king bed and all the amenities except a pool which we wouldn't have used anyway. The only ... reason we didn't give them a 5.0 is because out of a four day stay they missed making up our room one day.

Good Hotel, Poor Job Orbitz
Excellent Value, Albeit Hard To Find Sep 6, 2009
For the money, this property is a real find. Smallish suite-style rooms with small kitchenette, microwave, etc.. full laundry ... room with vending, exercise room and lovely lobby with fireplace, small dining room and complimentary breakfast. Albertsons Grocery and Drug Store 2 minutes away on same street. WARNING: Hotel can be hard to find. When you pass Albertsons and Pizza Hut, keep going, all the way to the DEAD END. The hotel is tucked away in the trees (resembles a lodge) and can't be seen from the street like a large hotel chain building. Also, confirm your rezo. Orbitz hadn't contacted this property and they had no record of my reservation... although, the hotel was terrific, booked me in at no cost as I had prepaid, and called Orbitz to track down the rezo. I would stay here again, if you are working in Bellevue. This hotel is 20 minutes from downtown Seattle.

You guys are a joke...
Ryan Aug 11, 2009
Haha. You guys are something else. I booked the hotel online and got a reservation number, etc. Then in the middle of the ... night I get a voicemail from some guy who didn't identify himself and said the hotel was booked. I wasn't even sure it was for my orbitz reservation. I called the hotel and they said they did not have anything. Needless to say, I now had no place to stay. And then you want to know how my stay was... something else.

disappointed
Chesney Aug 4, 2009
This was the first trip for us as newby empty nesters and what a disappointment. The hotel itself was nice enough but ... everywhere you looked, the carpet was dirty. I don't think that the housekeeping staff was doing their job. We even had wads of paper and other junk clearly visible that was left behind our TV. At breakfast, when we arrived 45 minutes before it was over, they had already ran out of milk and juice. Too bad, as the motel itself was nice

good value!
leung3 Aug 3, 2009
i got a great deal at orbitz and this is central location for me. it is located by 1-90 freeway so if you open your window, ... you can hear the traffic but otherwise it is relatively quiet. It is a little hard to find, just have to watch out for confusing roads. Parking is free but space is limited, and there is a sheltered garage plus outside parking. Breakfast is continental simple with bread, muffins, yogurt, bagel, coffee, bottle juice, fruits, cereal and instant oatmeal. Staff at the desk are friendly. My room comes with kitchen (fridge, microwave, stove, coffee maker, utensils) but the cabinets are outdated and room smelled really "greasy". Had to open the windows to air out the room but still smelled of grease. Nice big flat screen tv. Did not get a refill on complimentary shampoo/conditioner. hotel is just 2 exits away from downtown bellevue and about 25 mins to snoqualmie falls, to SEATAC airport and to downtown seattle (depending on traffic)

Friendly, clean and quiet
Alpha Mom Aug 3, 2009
The staff was friendly and accommodating. I also liked the quietness of the rooms. The back rooms face vegetation on a hill ... and are especially quiet. The rooms have almost a full kitchen with some free goodies, which I have never seen. I like the Renton hotel too. Not fancy, but clean, quiet with friendly staff.
