Welcome to Las Vegas' most talked-about experience! The Palms Casino Resort offers its guests some of the city's most spectacular views of the Las Vegas Strip, unique rooms, memorable nightlife venues and a bevy of dining options.
From ghostbar on the 55th floor to Rain Las Vegas just off the casino, the Palms is the hotel for the MTV generation - so much so that the 12th season of MTV's "The Real World" was shot at the resort, and now hotel guests can stay in the 2,900-square-foot suite created for the show's cast.
The resort today is the home of Bravo's "Celebrity Poker Showdown" and is a Vegas playground for music celebrities and Hollywood stars, with specialty suites offering extra-large furniture for the hotel's many NBA guests, and two luxury Playpen suites (complete with stripper poles) that attract not only bachelor and bachelorette parties but also A-list celebrities.
The Palms offers some of the best nightlife in town, beginning with ghostbar. Its open-air deck offers amazing 180-degree views of the Vegas Strip. Fifty-five stories below, the 1,500-seat, state-of-the-art nightclub and showroom venue Rain Las Vegas has a line of fun-loving partygoers every weekend.
The resort's dining options are equally extraordinary, from Alize, where diners can enjoy floor-to-ceiling views as well as gourmet meals, to Little Buddha, with its crimson, gold and celadon decorations and giant Buddha statue.
If you're looking to relax, the Palms features a 20,000-square-foot spa boasting numerous services. Outside, the pool provides a welcome reprieve from the Vegas heat with multiple pools, including two designed just for shallow lounging.
The pools at Palms and Palms Place open for the season on March 5, 2009.
If indoor fun is more your style, check out the 14-theater Brendan Theatres complex or stop by Hart & Huntington Tattoo Company, the only tattoo parlor in a Vegas hotel.
Finally, the Palms is also constructing the new 40-story Fantasy Tower. Many standard guest rooms are already open, as well as a series of fantasy suites. From the mammoth and lush Celebrity Suite to the ultra-hip g Suite, the Palm's Fantasy Suites turn a regular vacation into one fit for a Vegas high-roller. Other luxury options include the hip hop-laden Crib Suite, the bachelorette party-friendly Hot Pink Suite and the Erotic Suite.
Also now open! The Playboy Club with its own casino, new restaurant Nove Italiano, and a new nightclub called Moon, with a retractable roof!
The new tower also houses a state-of-the-art recording studio and a floor of meeting space. The masterpiece of the Fantasy Tower will be the six Sky Villas, which will each offer an outdoor pool overlooking The Strip. When completed, the Fantasy Tower will definitely live up to its name, and, like the rest of the Palms, make you feel like a celebrity.
Hotel guests now receive free passes to nightclubs! - 2 Passes per room. * Ghost Bar - Complimentary admission is good for "You + 1 guest SUNDAY THRU THURSDAY." Great Casino/Resort!
The Professor Nov 9, 2009
The Palms is great! The hotel is upscale but not stuffy. We booked a standard/deluxe room with a king bed, but the room was ... not available when we arrived. In order to get us our king bed, the receptionist gave us a complimentary upgrade to a jr. suite! The corner room was spacious with a spectacular view (17th floor; windows on adjacent walls. And the shower was AMAZING! The only thing that was a problem for us was the proximity to the strip. The Palms is a long, hard, 15-20 minute trek (across teh interstate) to the nearest strip hotel. While the Palms is on Flamingo Rd (the strip), it is set apart from the casinos that have free monorail service. Any time we wanted to go to the strip, we had to get a taxi there and back. What would fix this? An extended monorail system to the Palms or a free shuttle from the Palms to the strip. Otherwise, perfect!

This is my second time at the Palms and I have to say they do a great job of treating you well. Though the weekends here can ... get crazy, during the week it is a great locale for those in their 20s or early 30s. The crowd here is young and vibrant so don't expect it to cater towards the baby-boomer generation, well unless you're a cougar or sugar-daddy. The rooms are pretty nice with good views of Las Vegas, and the restaurants and nightlife here should cater to about anyone's interest. Overall, it is my favorite place to stay when in town, and highly recommend it.

Great Stay
Ferrari Oct 28, 2009
I brough my boyfriend here for his 21st bday. Upon arrival, we had no idea where to check in and the people at the front desk ... actully let us walk by cluelessly without saying a word. Once we figured out where to go on our own, things went great. The Palms is gorgeous, the rooms are a good size with very nice bathrooms. The bed was very comfy, but goodluck getting them to give you new sheets. In an effort to conserve water, they'll only do it if you ask. Even then, I swear they must have just replaced them with someone else's dirty blankets. They weren't smelly, but the creepy purple stains left a lot to the imagination. Unless you're looking towards the Strip, the view sucks on Flamingo Drive because of all the construction and empty lots for sale. The pool was nice, but not many people swam since it was October (upper 70's-80's). I liked that it was off the Strip because apparently, there are like a million overpasses on the Strip and you can't cross the streets. I'd hate to have to deal with that all the time. It was only a 5 min taxi ride to the Strip, too. The hotel has everything in it, clubs, restaurants, casino, movie theatre... we almost didn't leave the hotel! Rain and Moon were AMAZING! Make sure that you get in the right lines for the buffet and clubs. When you're a guest you get a VIP pass. Unfortunately, there are about a million other VIP's, so you have to wait in a line anyway, but it's worth it. People from all over come to the Palms just to go to the clubs here so make sure you dress to impress. Crab legs at Bistro Buffet were the only good thing at the buffet. All the other food there sucked. Chimichangas at the Mexican restaurant were delish, but beware the mudd-butt. It'll give you the runs! The convenience store is super expensive. A small bottle of OJ will run you almost $4. Go across the street to CASINO and use their convenience store. They sell cheap alcohol, too. The casino wreaks of ciagrs and cigarettes. I don't smoke so it was really annoying and I came home with a hacking cough from it. McDonald's is open all night after the clubs let out. Can't go wrong with that! Overall, it was a good stay and my boyfriend and I loved it.

I had a good time.
Florida fun time. Oct 19, 2009
Overall it was a really good trip. I read some reviews that said the frontdesk staff was poor or was very short with them. I ... had no trouble with them what so ever. I arived 3 hours before check-in and they checked me right in no problem. Everyone I talked to at the Palms was top notch other than the girl that worked in the business center. She wanted to txt more than help people. The room was nice and clean. It was not made to stay in all the time. The bathroom was big. The only problem I had with the room was the shower head sucked to no end. Weak water pressure and it really never seemed to get that hot. If you are going to do more than gamble and go out make sure you plan what you are going to do ahead of time. You could spend 2 days walking around looking for stuff before you find it. If you get the chance go see the Hover Dam. It was 1 of the best parts of the trip. The food was good at the Palms was really good. If you want to get by cheep go to the Buffett. $8 for breakfast or $16 for Dinner. There are other higer end dinning options at the Palms as well. The one thing I will tell you is dont come to Vegas if you are cheep. You will not have fun.

Best all round casino/hotel
Frank da Tank Oct 15, 2009
Very well rounded hotel/casino. Service was great upon check-in and out with [...](in) and [...](out). Rooms very clean and ... neat. Beds sparkling white sheets and comforter excellent use of space in the rooms. If tour ever at this hotel and enjoy 3 card poker or are looking for a new game to change your luck, try it here and make sure [...] are there for this. You will not find nicer dealers anywhere. I spent 4 days there and spent some time in many other casinos, and couldn't find any as nice or knowledgeable about the game plus other games as well. Another great thing about this place is yes it's off the strip but only walking distance from the strip, but you may not even need to leave depending on what your looking for, great dining with N9ne(nine) steakhouse; I'm just sad the one in Dallas Tx closed, as well as Nove. Though don't try the buffet here it is less than desireable. But unlike any other casino/hotel they do not force you to the buffet here they have a food court! This is also great for anyone who's in a rush and the McDonalds is open 24/7. As you can see not much to knock on this place the owners keep this place up and seem to care about more than just lining their pockets. Don't forget to pass by the many clubs in this hotel either, Playboy clubs has bunnies working if that gets your hollies off, Moon has themed parties regularly and while we were there it was Vampire night if your into that. I thought it was cool seeing all the vampires coming through the place. And of course world famous Rain as made famous by the real world las Vegas edition.

The worst part was that I only got 3 hrs. sleep before I had to wake up at 6:30-the club "Rain" went on until almost 4 a.m. ... and was right under my room! The management offered earplugs! Ordinary room, sink was cracked in bath, but nice thick towels there. At the breakfast cafe, terrible service, had to send our pancakes & waffles back-they were cold waiting for waitress to bring us butter.

sooz709 Sep 29, 2009
The hotel was okay; I wouldn't stay here again. Registration desk was difficult to locate. No times posted for when pool ... was open-and then found out it was only open 9a-5p. It would have been nice to swim at 9 or 10 at night or very early in the morning. There were long lines of people all over but no indication as to what they were waiting to do. There was no information about Ghost bar-how/when to go there. At this hotel it seemed like you already had to know what was going on-little direction about activities. It appears that this is a popular hotel for teenagers trying to pass for 21 and young 20's. Apparently this is THE party hotel on the weekends and the young drunk people were loud and getting sick all night Friday and Saturday-difficult to sleep as it was so loud in the adjacent rooms. It just wasn't what we were looking for and as this was our first trip to Vegas we were not aware of this hotel's reputation. Next time we'll stay at a classier place like the Bellagio.

Glad I got to experience this place. Would stay again, just maybe not on a weekend.. noisy from the speakers at the pool ... till 4am. if you want nightlife, i would recommend it for sure. if you need restful sleep on the weekend,, better do it during the day. Bass resonates thru the rooms. If youre cleaned up to go out.. your wife wouldnt dig walking to the strip in heels. your only options are their Cadillac escalades, the taxis, or Rio across the street has a free shuttle every 30 min which is about a 100 yard walk. Pro's = nightlife, sheik, celeb appeal, clean, trendy. Con's = nightlife noise, no shuttle, long walk to/from strip.

I had not stayed at the Palms before, and figured I would try it out. Now after staying there, I wouldn't stay there again. ... Fun clubs and all, but the service was totally lacking. It started out with slow and disorganized valet area, slow and bad service in the cafe... And the staff in charge of the clubs... Arrogant and very unfriendly. I was a hotel guest, yet was treated very poorly by the various club staff. I have stayed at other places like the Venetian, and was treated much better. I will probably stay there next time.
