Not a good place to stay

This was definitely a motel with a bad makeover that did not come close to hiding the blemishes. Felt unclean. ...

Pretty much an updated motel
GM Jun 30, 2009
After reading the great reviews, I quickly booked this room. One one hand the place was conveniently located, the staff was ... nice, and the room was pretty nice (the bathrooms were recently remodeled and were great). On the other hand, I was almost afraid to sleep there. We had a non-smoking room all the way in the back. The back of the room faced a field with tractor-trailers. It just had a very Bates Motel-esque feel. I guess you get what you pay for.

We were here for recreation on the bay. There are several boat launches within short driving distance.

I was about 20 miles from Crisfield which wasn't bad. I took the boat cruise from there to Tangier Island. That was wonderful!

Nicest place I have ever stayed.
Darrell Jul 26, 2008
By far the most friendly hotel I have ever stayed at. Hotel is VERY clean and comfortable. Good central location to many ... local places. I stayed here for one full week, and the hotel manager checked with us several times to ask if we were enjoying our stay. This location is an anual event for myself and a few companions. And we will be staying at the Pocomoke Quality Inn every year. Great value, and great people!

Convenient Location
Catherine May 28, 2007
This Quality Inn is located convenient to eating establishments and a Wal-Mart which is great when travelling. If you have a ... room close to the end by the highway, expect traffic noise along with other guests pulling up in front of the rooms late at night and all pressing their key locks until their horns blow. The room was OK - I was there for 2 nights and the front desk clerk never told me that a continental breakfast was included so I missed out on that my first morning there. I had difficulty getting the light over the vanity to come on, I was told I had to play with the switch a bit to get it to work. No thanks - I have an implanted medical device, I don't play with electrical things. Also had trouble getting the TV remote to work until I took the batteries out and readjusted them. Upon returning to my cleaned room the next day, my magnetic card didn't work anymore so another walk over to the front desk was needed. The bed pillows are horribly worn out and flat. Otherwise, the bed was comfortable. The kleenex box cover is rusted and hanging out of the wall. The bathroom had been updated and had nice new tub surround and shower curtain. The safe in the room is commendable and the free wireless internet is great, but I could only receive email, never could send anything.
