Not so good.

The pool water was greenish and awful looking. I was told there was something wrong with the water and that they were ... attempting to fix the problem. So we had no pool to use. Also there was a huge ball of hair in the room on the floor next to the bed and a sunflower seed at the base of the bed.

Terrible, absolutely terrible!
shotputter Jul 14, 2009
I went to train shotput with Olympian John Godina. My room was so hot that I could barely sleep and you could not hear the TV ... over the sound of the AC. MY training suffered because of my heat fatigue and it all was terrible.

While a reasonable distance from training facilities, the hotel definitely needs an update. Everyone was friendly & check-in ... was great. Though quiet, the room needed a "makeover."

Okay value for the money
Jospeh May 25, 2008
Our room at the Windemere Hotel & Conference Center was very spacious. We liked the bathroom separate from the vanity area. ... The small refrigerator and microwave were a plus. We enjoyed the patio. The down side was that our bed was extremely hard. The bottom sheets were worn (holes on the corners and stains) and the bathroom towels were quite thin and some had holes too. The continental breakfasts were good, but seating is quite limited for a Hotel that size. They ran out of syrup one morning and had no fruit another morning.

this place sucks
TRACY May 11, 2008
The room was VERY shoddy. There was gung on the walls in the bathroom, paint chips throughout. To top that off, the power ... went out. When we went to the front desk (along with the other guests) we were told by the young man working that he had no flashlights and that his boss told him to lock the front doors and not let anyone in or out....in other words,,,,to hell with the residents. I would NEVER stay there again....even if it was free.

Great grounds, pool; rooms need light
Roger Apr 2, 2008
Very happy with pool and grounds. Quiet and shady and pool has open sunbathing areas. Hard to read even a newspaper in room. ... Lights need stronger bulbs. Continental breakfast very good, never ran out of items.
