Very Noisy
L Dec 1, 2009
We were supposed to stay for 6 nights but checked out after the first 2 nights. It was way too noisy. The hotel has 3 ... nightclubs in the lobby and we could hear the music and bass in our room on the 10th floor until 2 am. The tv remote did not work, nor did the internet, which was wired. We called the front desk to ask them to fix the internet, but they were unable to fix the problem. They did not offer to move us to a room with working internet. The hotel is close to restaurants and bars, which is good if you have to walk everywhere. But if you want to be able to sleep at night, do not stay here.

Four night stay in Boston
Jobseeker Nov 25, 2009
I was on a business trip to Boston for five days over the weekend before Thanksgiving. The hotel was great, and I have no ... complaints. The only problem I faced was at night, as there was some noise coming from somewhere below me (I stayed on the 7th floor). However, this may be something normal for the area, as the hotel is located in the center of Boston, and it was the weekend. This has been one of the best trips that I have been on in a while, and I am sure that I will be using this hotel the next time I visit Boston for any occasion.

Chinatown is about a block away, meaning that you have access to multiple Asian restaurants. There are also some pizza places, as well as a food court that is located a couple of blocks away as well.

A Place to Build Beautiful Memories
Grateful Mom Nov 21, 2009
I went to Boston on a spontaneous visit to my son who is a freshman at Boston College. I must travel on a strict budget; the ... Courtyard by Marriott allowed me to have a wonderful, fun-filled trip at a great price. It began with a room change so that my son could stay with me the 2 nights I was there, and an early check-in so that I could freshen up and leave my luggage before I went on to the college. The T train station is a short walk away, which allowed me easy and inexpensive access to the airport, BC, and all the restaurants and shops in-between. My son was able to spread out and study, and we appreciated the free internet access. Courtyard by Marriott is clean, comfortable, safe, and pleasant, and I recommend it to anyone to whom people and experiences are most important, and feel that home is where the heart is.

Easy to get to
Not required Nov 19, 2009
Not far from the T. Walkable between here and the Hynes convention center (1 mile). Lack of resturants but easy to get to ... some. Rooms could use some updating and they were a little small. Free internet is nice and worked well. Thermostat in rooms is not particularly useful and opening the window was difficult and increase noise level a lot. Pretty clean and staff are friendly enough.

Great location, friendly staff, very clean room. Lots of great nightlife nearby...but, also, lots of nightlife noises. There ... is a dance club in the same building (or block at least) and the music was audible in our room (Thurs, Fri, Sat nights). We'd stay again, but will bring ear plugs. Hotel is close to some great restaurants, theaters, and two T (subway) stops.

Great location, small room
AJ Nov 10, 2009
The locations is great, next door to theaters, Chinatown, and transportation. Our room was very small, but this is fine as ... all we used it for was sleeping. The beds were very comfy and room was clean. The first room were were assigned was on the 8th floor and we could hear the bass of the neighboring night club for most of the night. There was also a vent right outside our window that made a loud whistling sound. We were able to switch rooms the following day without a problem. Big perk: free internet and printers. We would stay there again.

Courtyard Marriott- Tremont in Boston
Pat Sep 7, 2009
This was our first trip to Boston and we were taking our son to college. The hotel was ideally situated to all the ... attractions we wanted to see. We found Boston ideal for touring and the Courtyard was in the center of town as well as a few blocks from his school. One the downside, we had trouble getting enough towels for our use. The air conditioner in our room was very noisy and difficult to regulate. beds were comfortable but the room was small. We had a room with 2 double beds and 4 family members- a little crowded.

In need of privacy when trying to relax Sep 4, 2009
Everything was fine with the room but I was bothered numerous times by the housekeeping staff. I wanted peace and quiet on my ... vacation and they kept stoping by occasionally knocking which is fine but they just kept trying to enter the room many times without even knocking which made me feel terribly uncomfortable. I feel that every single time a housekeeper or any other member working for the hotel tries to enter a room they should knock. I was continuously woken up by someone trying to enter. It was extremely bothersome!

Great location for Boston theaters
Carlo Dec 28, 2008
The hotel is ideally situated in the heart of the theater district and is only a short walk to a number of theaters. The room ... was tiny with not much room to move around in & anyone looking for spacious accommodations will not find it here. The bathroom was barely large enough for one person. The hotel only serves breakfast. On Saturday night the bar draws a very large crowd, with extremely loud music. Fortunately we were on the 12th floor but I expect that anyone on the lower floors would not have escaped being blasted. I picked the hotel because of its proximity to a concert we were attending. The staff were very helpful and friendly, particularly the doorman, a delightful gentleman. While its always expensive to park in Boston, Parking was $36 for one night.

Good location near transportation
John Jun 24, 2008
Very nice older hotel which has been renovated. Several blocks from Boston Commons. Walking distance to Transit system and ... Freedom Trail. Had large desk and work space for business if needed. The only negatives were that it had a stand alone closet which was blocked by the desk so hanging clothes was a challenge. Also the bathroom had limited space to place items. But overall would stay at the hotel again due to the convenience.
