The room was very nice for the price, and it was very quiet and restful, that could be because there were not many people ... there that we noticed, except for Thursday when the breakfast buffet was half price for seniors. The gaming was the worst I have ever come across ,though, and we have been all over. If I was going to play slots , I would definitely not stay there.!

Thursday you can get the breakfast buffet ,buy one get one free for 50+ seniors. Well worth the money

Their are a couple malls in the area, and of course casinos like The Hard Rock. Everything is a short drive and right on the highway. Great dining as well!

Not What It Used To Be
R>W> Jan 31, 2010
They have cut back so much that the cutomer and their employees do not seem to matter much. The only Room Service they have ... is from the greassy spoon downstairs. Even then, it is only form 7:AM to 11:00 A.M. You can tell the employees are doing the best they can with what they have ( probably overworked and underpaid). I would recommend Faraddays for good steak, seafood, and service. We were so disapointed that we canceled reservatons for May.

The location was wonderful! Right near the beach, casinos, and great places to eat! I suggest Mary Mahoney's Old French ... House. The staff at the hotel and casino were amazing! The hotel is under construction but it wasn't noisy or anything. I would recommend this hotel to anyone! The bed was so comfortable and nice linens.

The hotel was great. Staff was friendly Calypso Buffet was great! The only thing I didn't like was the bathroom. There was ... no real "door". The french "closet" door design may be a new trend but I did NOT like it at all.

A Suitable Stay
out of town local Jan 11, 2010
We went to Bioxi to see a show and get out of town. This trip was better than many trips for January along the Gulf Coast. ... For smokers this area is a paradise as smoking is allowed in all areas of the casino, halls, resturants, cabs,... Allow more time for transportation than you may think. Now that Biloxi has had gamming for some time now it is presumed that you know your way around town and the casinos, even if this is your first stay.
Traveler type: Couples
HAVE SOME CASH AND CHANGE FOR TRANSPORTATION. EXACT CHANGE IS REQUIRED FOR ALL PASSANGERS, NO EXCEPTIONS. This almost cost us our reservations for dinner and a show, the reason for our visit. The casinos are not forthcoming with this info and cabs are expensive for the quality of transportation provided ($10 for 1.5 mile trip in an old smoke filled taxi).

cocacoladude64 Dec 22, 2009
We ejoyed our trip. We went to gamble, and relax and just getaway. The only thing that was wrong with our trip was the beds ... in the the hotel were hard as a rock, they had put a feather matress pillow topper on the beds that made them even worse. and they only had feather pillows. Other than that everything was great.

When riding the trolley between hotels, if you have your Medicaid Card, you ride for less on the trolley. Driver will ONLY except a Medicaid Card for proof of age.
--Gina, Pensacola, Florida Sep 27, 2009
Highly recommend checking the little coupons that the hotel gives you with your room key. There were coupons for the spa and restaurants included with the key. Would have been nice if that was mentioned by the staff during registration, but I guess they figured you would find it!
