Nice hotel good price

This was a nice hotel with great staff, good location and easy access to highways. It was very easy to get around the city or ... surrounding areas from the hotel. Can't think of any thing negative to say other than the bathroom was a bit small for the door, maybe the door should open out to the main room instead of in to the bathroom. It's not home but it is a great place to stay.

The hotel was very convenient for my purposes. It was clean and quiet. The downside was the lack of room service, ... restaurant/bar.

Keep going on Frontage Road... it may seem that the neighborhood is a bit rough... but keep going. You'll be able to see the hotel once you've passed the park and the pond.

Great Price for a good hotel

Despite a lovely room with good amenities, we did have to wait over 5 minutes for the desk clerk to check us in because she ... was on the phone. She answered three calls while we were waiting for our keys. As we were in a hurry (we were late for a bridal shower and had been on the road for several hours); she could have easily put the phone conversations on hold for the couple minutes it would have taken to check us in. However, once she was finally off the phone, the concierge was friendly and helpful; as were all the rest of the staff we encountered. It was nice that the pool opened fairly early in the morning, as we didn't have the opportunity to swim the evening of our arrival. Also- 1st rate smoke-free facility. If I have to go up to that area of Chicago again, I will definately book through Orbitz again!

My review of SpringHill Suites Chicago Southwest at Burr Ridge/Hinsdale

Our stay at the Spring Hill Suites was a good one. The motel staff was very friendly and helpful, and the entire motel was ... very well kept up. Although we had early morning plans that didn't allow us to utilize their complimentary breakfast, I did peek at it and it looked very good. The location was perfect for our needs with plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby, which my wife enjoyed. We expect to make more trips to the Chicago area in the future as we now have a number of new friends in that area (as my son married into a family in that area) , and we plan on staying there.

There are many shopping opportunities with within few minutes, from very trending to traditional stores, that have restaurants close by.

The staff at the Sprinhill was very friendly and helpful. Check in/out was a breeze. The complimentary breakfast bar was ... great with a lot of choices for adults and children. The room was very comfortable and great for children or business. The location was great right of the interstate and close to a Walgreens and some local restaurants. A train station was just up the road for travels to downtown.
