The hotel was located in a wonderful location. We were cruising out of Port Everglades and flying out of Fort Lauderdale ... Airport. It was two minutes from each location and they offered free shuttles. The rooms were in excellent condition. Not to mention dining and shopping was across the street!

easy check in. They had a free shuttle to the boat terminal but there was a long line and the $10.00 cab fare was worth not ... having the hassle. Ok workout room. Breakfast was fine. Good for what you pay.

The hotel was beautiful, clean, and convenient to the airport. The front desk staff was very helpful. However, when trying ... to communicate with housekeeping they did not speak english. When we asked about what to do in the area, we were not given many options.

This was an over night stay. Arrived not knowing about how to get to the cruise ship. Everyone on staff was very happy to ... help me find out information on how to get to the ship and made sure we had a ride. Everyone was GREAT!!

Staff was not helpful and didn't really care to put-forth any effort to help with the assistance I was asking for at the late ... hour I was there. Room was not clean and in poor shape overall. Airport Shuttle service was not convenient at all.

Great experience except for a water leak in the bathroom. I called the front desk, and they were appropriately apologetic and ... moved me to another equivalent room immediately.

Although the food was good, the dining experience at Lester's Diner recommended by the front desk staff was less than satisfactory. That wasn't the hotel's fault, but I wouldn't recommend anyone else go there.

My stay at this hotel was short, but long enough to enjoy the friendly staff, the clean room, the very comfortable bed, the ... wonderful free breakfast, and the impecable shuttle service. It was great! I would recommend it to anyone.

We were picked up promptly at the airport and taken to the hotel which is only minutes away from the airport. We spent only ... one night there and then were taken to the cruise terminal the next morning. The buffet breakfast was good. The room was large, clean, and very comfortable.

We checked in late, so we left our luggages in the room and went to eat. Came back I unpacked some clothes and toiletry. ... After a while I realized the room was warm, so I tried to turned the air up. Nothing happen, I opened the cover, and it droped on my foot and cut my big toe. It looked like the battery was out, so I called front desk. They sent the maintainance man up, and he confirmed that the battery was dead. We asked him to switch the cover with battery with an empty room, so we won't have to move. Front desk called and said we had to move to another room. Not just another room on same floor but one floor above. We had to put things back in bags and moved up. we had total 5 bags.

Great value for the money

When we got to the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites FT. LAUDERDALE AIRPORT the customer service agent was friendly and ... helpful. The room was suprisingly bigger than was expected and was clean and tidy. The king-sized bed was as comfortable as any bed that I've slept on. In the morning we had a tasty hot complementary buffet breakfast which consisted of eggs, sausages, muffins, OJ and hot coffee/tea. The hotel was about a 10 minute ride to the airport. Overall, our stay was very pleasant and definetly a great value for the money.

The Fort Lauderdale Holiday Inn Express was a very convenient place to stay before an early AM flight from the airport. I ... had called the hotel to verify that I could have a late checkin, and they gave me good driving directions from I-595. The front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful, my room was clean and comfortable, and I was given a good recommendation for dinner at a near-by restaurant. There is a small shopping strip across from the hotel if any last-minute items need to be purchased. I had to leave too early to take advantage of the included breakfast, but it looked like they had nice facilities for that as well. In the morning, I asked at the desk for the best way to get to the airport, and found that I could drive there in just a few minutes without having to get back on the expressway.

I stayed at this hotel both before and after a cruise. It was in a great location, fairly new and good staff. On my second ... stay, I was given a room (non-smoking) in which someone had obviously and continually smoked. I alerted the staff and they immediately tried to remedy the problem. Eventually I was given a new room with not even a hint of cigarette smoke. The complimentary brerakfast was a delightful bonus. I would stay here again.
