Spacious but common

Place is a nice idea but doesn't pull it off very well. We went at non-busy time of year. Had to talk to 6 staff before we ... finally made it to room (portico attendant, lobby attendant, check-in line, check-in clerk, bell desk, bell man). The place is large that and they are set up for many customers, but the check-in was overdone and the check-in clerk was incompetent. Claimed my credit card was denied, when after two phone calls to credit card company and 3 attempts at her entering it that we finished that step. Rooms are decent, clean and spacious. Finishes are starting to wear. Walls and ceilings are "thin" so you get to hear folks coming, going and walking around. Location is good. Can see how they might handle crowds fairly well. We were here for a race at Disney Wide World of Sports. This hotel worked well location wise and was worth the price we paid.

THE ACCOMODATIONS WERE GREAT! THEY ARE VERY CLOSE TO DISNEY PARKS , WHICH WAS CONVENIENT. HOWEVER , CHECK- IN WAS QUITE ... PAINFUL. AFTER TRAVELING MANY LONG HOURS TO GET TO OUR DESTINATION, THE FRONT DESK WAS QUITE UNDERSTAFFED AND VERY SLOW TO MOVE(WE WAITED AT LEAST 40 MINUTES TO COMPLETE CHECK-IN. WHILE AT THE RESORT , THE STAFF HARRASSED US DAILY WITH EARLY MORNING PHONE CALLS & VISITS TRYING TO SELL US TIME SHARES. (EVEN THOUGH i AM AN OWNER AT THIS RESORT). NEVERTHELESS, WE ENJOYED OUR STAY & ALL OF OUR TRIPS TO THE DISNEY PARKS.

Hotel is close to all attractions. Staff were very helpful with driving directions. What was not good was that some guests ... were quite noisy at all hours of the night.

Our pillow cases were dirty and had to call at 12am for clean ones, and also we were woken up by one of the staff two times. ... First time they told us that we will receive VIP passes and someone will come at 11am and they never came and we had to even change our plans because they told us they can only come today or the next day. Second time the same person called and told us that some client needed internet and they told us they will have to come up to our room and i don't think that is right because it was 9am and i told them we was sleeping but they told me they have to come up now. From my point of view that was not right to put one client before the other especially when the internet cable was in our room. Also there was no parking around the place where we was at, we always had to park far away which we did not like since we had a rental car that we were responsible for. I would definitely not consider that place again because i don't think its right to be at a vacation and to be bothered so many times. I have always been at clean hotel rooms and never been bothered no matter what time during the day it was.

A time share resort where we attended a 90 minutes presentation of the villas they had for sale. The sales staff was very ... pushy and didn't want to take "no" for an answer. The location was great for the price. We only used our villa at the end of the night for sleeping after a long day at the Disney parks which only took approximately 10 minutes to get to from the resort. However, at the end of the day we came to a room that had not been serviced and the only service we got was fresh towels that were left inside a plastic bag sitting on the kitchen table. Room service was poor. Will definitely consider other options for future travel to the Kissimmee area.

Okay for price & location

The room had ants that had to be sprayed for twice during our stay. We had a ground floor room, but you could hear ... everything from the corridore and every time the next room over opened & shut thier door it echoed in our room. Staff emptied trash and replaced towels everyday, but no general sweeping was done. Many late nights & early mornings due to the noisy room. Shower head had to be replaced while we were there too, no water pressure.

Disney is just a short drive. Take the back entrance out of the villas to Sherberth Road and follow it to the light at Oceola Pkwy, that takes you right into Disney with NO traffic!!!

This was a birthday trip to Seaworld. We couldn't have picked a better place. It has a great location convenient to ... everything you will need (gift shops, reasturants, walmart/walgreens, fast food, etc) They offered movies in the theater, pools, paddle boats, etc. The staff was the best you were always greeted when entering the lobby and acknowledged when they saw you around the premises. I don't have anything bad to say about this location. I WILL STAY HERE EVERY CHANCE I GET!!!

There is a distinct difference between a resort and a hotel. Vacation Villas is a RESORT. The property is huge and has ... countless activities for the kids including dinosaur mini-golf which we thought was extra cute. We also loved that the resort is less than 10 miles from Disney and the other parks. Our kids love that there is a Pizza Hut on site. Overall, it was great and we plan to go back.

Great Hotel, awesome rooms, BIG!!!!! and Very clean!!!. The only bad thing I experienced was disorganization at the check-in ... process. They had a lot of people doing very simple jobs. They are mainly a timeshare hotel as well, so it gives you the impression they want to sell you a package at the check in process. I did not like that much.

My husband is in the military and I wanted to take our daughter on a little trip to Orlando to visit a few of the parks to ... take her mind off of him being away. The hotel location was wonderful. It was located in short distance to all the major parks and to alot of the major eateries. The only thing that I didn't like that much was;the fact that with short stays(week-ends)they don't give you housekeeping services. We did have them come in one day out of four. We had a chance to stay at another resort this past spring break 2009 and the accommadations were horroible. This stay was hands down a cut above the rest.

We had a refrigerator in the room, so I went and got breakfast items(cereal,fruit,poptarts,yogart)to help with the cost of meals. It also came in handy so that I didn't have to get up early to catch breakfast.
