Five Stars If Not for the MUSHY Beds
John Aug 11, 2009
We had a mountainside room with a great view. Service was impeccable. The hotel is located a short walk from good ... restaurants and bars, 1 min. from I-25 and a short drive from many Colorado Springs attractions. I haven't seen a better fitness center in a hotel of this price range. Unfortunately our room and one they offered to move us to had MUSHY beds. The staff said they were supposed to be comfortably soft "Serenity" beds. Ours were way beyond serenity. We were rolling into each other as the bed sagged toward the center, and working to hoist ourselves out. I had the worst sleep I can recall and my wife left with aggravated sciatica. I'm recommending it, but ONLY if you can tolerate a worn-out MUSHY bed, or screen yours before checking in.

Weekend Get Away in the Springs
family planner Jul 20, 2009
Hotel is in a great location, very nice, nice history and in walking distance to numerous resturants. Only problem, we ... switched rooms after the first night thinking that the rooms AC was not working up to par(room was quite hot in 95 degree weather) and found that the AC in the next room was just about the same. They could do some work to make AC a bit better, so if you cant stand the heat, I would try someplace else. Otherwise, super friendly staff and nice clean hotel. Got a great price from Orbitz and felt like for the money, we got a heck of a deal.

what's so special?
newlywed Jul 12, 2009
everything was clean and comfortable but for being a high end hotel we didn't see really any difference between this place ... and an average hotel. We wanted something special for our wedding night and got an average stay with the view of the roof instead of downtown like the reservation promised.

Room With A View
Woody Jun 29, 2009
We went to Colorado Springs from Denver for the early evening wedding of a friend's daughter. The wedding ceremony was held ... at Shove Chapel on the campus of Colorado College. The reception was held downtown three blocks from the hotel. This was my first stay at the Antlers and I would stay again. The location is perfect and the view is five star.

Comfort in downtown
michele Mar 10, 2008
The room at the Antlers Hilton was quiet, comfortable and clean. I thoroughly enjoyed having access to the pool and ... jacuzzi. The beds were very comfortable and having more than 2 pillows was a plus. I even spent some time sleeping on my back which is normally uncomfortable. My only real problem was there was only the one dining room/restaurant. It would be nice to also have a place to get a quick meal or snack before going out to do whatever. It was in the heart of the city and that made touring on foot much easier. I would return there if I have reason to return to Colorado Springs.

There is a sub sandwich place a couple of blocks away that had wonderful sandwiches and great dressings. It made for the quick meals we wanted frequently.
