I would never stay here again or recommend this hotel to anyone. It's in a bad part of town and I would have preferred to ... stay elsewhere.

Great location to La Rambles and offered great value for the money. But be prepared to adjust your standard to the level of ... the price. We booked our breakfast with the hotel and liked it. The hotel is old and rooms are small, though. We were first given a room without window and the air conditioning didn't work. Not only that, once we got in and locked our room, we could not unlock the door. We forgot to ask the phone No. to the front desk, "0" didn't work (later we found out it was 11 or 9). We were almost in a panic stage when the maid heard us and opened the door for us. After complaining to the management, we did get transfered to a room in a different area with great views.
